We are a dog rescue charity.We specialise in rescuing abandoned dogs from local pounds,which are in danger of being put to sleep.We also raise awareness of the problem of abandoned dogs as a result of backyard breeding.We get to know our dogs by walking them and meeting and socialising with other dogs and we also introduce them to a home environment.We take them to our own homes,

The Memorial Hall is the centre of village activities and is used by a variety of groups including an over 50's Activity session,several exercise classes,children's parties. The hall has its own country dancing group as well as dog training and Weight Watchers meetings.

Our activities during 2018 were:Arts n Craft Group; Monday Group; Bowling Group; Tap Dancers; Calmer Youth Group; Colliery Corner Group (parents and children); Halloween Events; Easter Parade; Christmas Party; BBQ Days; Disco for the youth; Face Painting; Dog Show; Coffee mornings; Lunch Club. We were supported in this by a grant from the People's Health Trust

TO RAISE FUNDS TO CARE FOR AND RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF DOGS AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL

We are a foster based rescue we take in dogs from the public,dog wardens and local council pounds. We assess the dogs at home for a minimum of 2 weeks and then we place them into suitable foster homes until they are ready for their forever homes (many need vet care so they stay in foster until cleared by the vet) we use boarding kennels when we don't have suitable fosters available

Carmarthenshire Therapy Dogs started in 2015 we recruit volunteers working with their dogs supporting people in their own home, in residential homes, hospitals, dementia settings bringing comfort, reducing loneliness and isolation. We also provide therapy dog visits to groups, special health units and children and young people, we have automated pets for people, where real pets are not allowed.

Our charity comprises a village hall maintained for the use of anyone in the local area for events. Examples are: WI, mothers & toddlers, astronomy club, dog club, quilters & village friends. The hall is also used for functions and concerts. It is a community facility.

The Charity which is a Village Hall exists as a facility/meeting place for all activities currently undertaken by people in the community. SARDA (South Wales) Mountain Rescue Search Dogs objective is to save life and relieve suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accidents, or who are missing, on the hills or in open country or in urban areas, predominately, but not exclusively, in the areas of South and Mid Wales.

Part of the National Round Table organisation for men aged 18-41. This is a local group based in Lutterworth and surrounding villages. Fundraising activities held annually to include a dog show, bucket collections at supermarkets and others as appropriate.

AMWA Welfare is a charity devoted to raising money to assist in the rescue and on-going care, fostering and kennel costs of neglected or homeless Alaskan Malamutes within the UK. Money is currently raised by donation and fund raising activities such as raffles and quizzes from members and guests at sporting and social events held by the Alaskan Malamute Working Association.

Three Dogs support people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis, are on benefits or low income or experiencing homelessness AND have responsibility for a dog or dogs. We provide food , bedding and equipment for dogs and help their people to make an initial consultation appointment with their vet to ensure proper care. We educate on welfare and good practice with caring for dogs.

To promote humane behaviour towards retired police dogs in Lancashire by providing financial assistance to the owners of retired police dogs who have charge of animals that are in need of appropriate care & attention by reason of sickness, poor circumstance or ill usage
