The Working Dog Foundation supports those in the field of working dogs to give a point of reference, and to offer courses, advice and training services.Supporting the use of working dogs in the field of medicine, military and police services, assistance dogs, and any areas where dogs benefit mankind.

Leeming Village Hall provides a meeting place for a variety of users. Currently these are: Craft group, Art group, CAST Dog Training, Bedale Band, Pokemon Children's Club, Upholstery classes and many private functions too - parties, disco, charity fairs etc.The Trustees organise a monthly coffee morning for residents of the village to meet and socialise.

We arranges walks for greyhounds, lurchers and other sighthounds and give support to their owners. We attend shows to raise awareness. Money is raised by collections, at walks, shows and social events. We have close links with local greyhound kennels and national and international greyhound and sighthound organisations and support them with grants after trustee assessment.

In Botswana - where 20% of people live below the poverty line - access to affordable veterinary care is limited. MAWS (UK) raises funds to provide free animal welfare services in Maun, where more than 20,000 dogs owned by low income villagers have been sterilised and vaccinated by international veterinary volunteers.

Big Local Eastern Sheppey has been established to make the areas of Eastern Sheppey an even better place to live. It brings together a variety of skills and involved the high community. The activities that are delivered range from working closely with the elderly to providing things for local children to do throughout the year.

We rescue & rehome dogs from pounds across the country, we also take in dogs where the owner has died or is too ill to look after anymore, also dogs where the owners have to move house & cannot take their companions with them. We provide veterinary care for dogs that are ill and vaccinate, chip, worm and deflea all dogs before rehoming - we are based in Birmingham & are run solely by volunteers.

A non profit charity for Dog rescue

Our fund raising activities are held in several venues with the area of Churchill & Blakedown but we attract interest from further afield. We try to vary our activities in order to appeal to all age groups, to date we have held;Concerts incl. tribute acts, Music & Laughter Show,annual Barn Dance, Dog Show & Fete, Afternoon Tea, Gin Tasting Experience etc.We are always looking for new ideas.

The hall provides facilities for social, recreational and educational events. The community regularly meets for Dog Training, Weekly Coffee Mornings, the occasional Dances, Quiz Evenings and Keep-Fit sessions. A sub-post Office opens every Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9 - 12noon. Langdon Parish Council meets every 3rd Monday each month at 7.30pm. The local school and families also use the hall

Breed specifc rescue of French Bulldogs, we are a non profit organisation run by two volunteers Karen and Rachel,we have never bred or shown dogs our interest is wholly with the rescue aspect of the breed .All the dogs are neutered, chipped , vaccinated and come with 5 weeks free insurance our goal is to place healthy and happy French Bulldogs into well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

Village hall is let to various local groups. dog training. parish council. regular whist drives and other charity events and private events of village people.

Usually activities involving all sections of the community,i.e. rental for classes such as yoga, dog training, band practices, family parties, games evenings,lectures, fund raising for the hall itself and external needy charities, choral works etc.

We make donations and grants to applications generally from Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. We raise funds through can collections, providing BBQs in support of local community and charity events. We have supported Hearing Dogs, Florence Nightingale Hospice, SeeAbilty, Christmas food parcels for the disadvantaged elderly, Young Carers, Women's Aid and several more.
