Rescuing abandoned, abused or otherwise abandoned and neglected dogs. Meeting clinical, psychological and welfare needs, before rehabilitating and rehoming the animals. Providing term-of-life care where a dog has been deemed past the point of being safely rehomed.

Rescue, rehabilitate & rehome where possible, equines, cats & dogs. We act as a 'safe house' for RSPCA, police & other groups rescued horses. We allow visits from schools, disadvantaged people, disabled and other interested parties.

The charity takes in unwanted dogs from the public and local dog wardens, and then rehabilitates them before finding them permanent homes.

The income is given to the PCC for expenditure within the parish church and its activities (the PCC's annual turnover is circa 20,000).

The Recreation Ground is approximately 4.5 acres, we do not have any changing facilities available on the recreation ground.There is a childrens play area duly fenced to keep dogs out and children safe within.The Recreation Ground is run by the Gravenhurst Recreation Ground Committee.

This is a small recreation ground with the open space supporting dog walking, general play activities for children and young people and a formal playground.

The Castle Grounds is a free facility. It is used by local dog owners and young families as it is a nice place to walk or play.

The charity is involved in the re-homing and adoption of animals, and in particular dogs. In order to raise funds to meet the costs of veterinary and boarding fees prior to re-homing, we run a charity shop staffed by volunteers in Eastwood, as well as receiving donation from the public and those rehoming the animals.

Husbandry of small field for benefit of public (including walkers - the Cotswold Way crosses the field). This includes husbandry of hedges, including one ancient hedgeway, walkway, gates, etc. Field is in constant use year-round by villagers for exercise including of their dogs, and by walkers.

To maintain the playing field, which is central to the parish of Thurlaston, for all members of the parish to enjoy.It is used extensively by parishioners for a number of activities including:children's play, meeting place for people, informal football & basketball, dog walking.It is also the location for the annual carnival.
