To provide financial assistance to Service personnel serving in HMS RALEIGH and/or living in South East Cornwall when support from other, larger charities is either inappropriate or may take too long in providing urgently needed assistance

The RNA is an association is set up to help serving personnel and veterans and their families . We have full members and associate ones. We have monthly meetings where we discuss matters like welfare, funerals attended and social gatherings. we raise money through various events like bag packing, social events and donations. We operate out of RAFA Pub in Treorchy and all are welcome

The elected almoner visits anyone who the branch feels may need help irrespective of where they are, home or hospital and has individual authority to do anything needed to eleviate the problem.

To promote fellowship and comradeship with members of the association

To assist the families of serving and veteran Royal Marines when the need arises. Our children's nursery project, The Brambles, is the main focus of our fundraising at present and will offer places to the children of serving Royal Marines as well as the wider community.

Over the period reported:Collaboration on writers, musicians and artists at Gallipoli in June 1915 with schools, museums and other organisations in Blandford Forum and nationally. Completion of GMM2015 programme supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, including conservation of the Ensign of the Royal Naval Division and textile artwork to hang in Blandford Church.

Emergency assistance to British Merchant seamen only visiting Alexandria. The charity does not apply elsewhere in Egypt

The education of the public by support for, assistance and promotion of The National Museum of the Royal Navy (Portsmouth) and HMS Victory through activities of the friends.

Provide training to young people in the Maidenhead, Taplow & Burnham area based on the principals of the Royal Navy. Subjects covered include rowing, canoeing, cookery, mechanical & electrical engineering, communications, various sports and many competitions.

For the restoration and conservation of TS Foudroyant (now renamed HMS Trincomalee), for the public's education and enjoyment.

We support British children of Merchant Navy personnel by assessing their family circumstances and educational needs and providing help accordingly. Each applicant has unique problems and is treated individually. We can help at all educational stages, including University, and also for career and personal development training.

The ARNO Charitable Trust has a single Corporate Trustee, the Royal Naval Benevolent Society for Officers, which provides financial support to serving and retired officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS, their Reserves, spouses, former spouses, families and dependents who are in financial distress.

We are a Royal Naval Association Branch supporting ex ROYAL NAVY, R.N.R. & RNXS personnel and their families etc we are supporting local and national seafaring charities, we are registered and governed by the Royal Naval Association's Royal Charter. We host visits from RNA Branches, Army and RAF Regiment get togethers in our 'Tri Service Mess' member & community events

The charity helps all RNA members, it also helps any ex Royal Naval personnel should the need arise, if the need arises.
