Provides a meeting point for ex Royal Naval,Royal Marine's Wren's,Qans and associates twice a month,provides a Welfare service and support for all of the above along with social outing and reunions

To give young people the best possible start in life with nautical adventure & fun based on the traditions of the Royal Navy

The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) is to help young people towards responsible adulthood and to encourage them to reach their potential by developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

Preservation and maintenance of memorabilia relating to HMS Conway. The Charity has a chapel and museum at Birkenhead Priory which houses many items of historical interest relating to the ship. Occasional services are held in the chapel during the year including an annual Remembrance service in November.

Supplies financial support for ex-service and serving soldiers of the Regiment. Assists with maintenance of Regimental Museum.

2019 is the 50th Anniversary year of Harrogate Male Voice Choir.We give some 10-12 concerts during the year to raise funds for national and local charities such as the Royal British Legion, the Marie Curie Charity and the Clock Charity at Thirsk. This has also included combining with choirs from all parts of the UK performing at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Using the traditions and values of the Royal Navy the charity aims to provide young people experiences and knowledge that they would be hard pressed to find in their normal lives. It is a uniformed youth organisation and aims to promote discipline and teamwork.

The Charity promotes and supports the National Museum of Bermuda (incorporating the Bermuda Maritime Museum), in particular, the permanent preservation of such maritime artefacts and relics of historical archaeological and technical interest and maintain in perpetuity the museum and the historical buildings and gun emplacements within the historic fortifications of the old Royal Naval Dockyard.

Money is raised by sales of RAFA related items such as pins etc plus by sponsorship events such as tandem skydiving and wingwalking etc

The principle aim of Wigan Sea Cadets is to engage young people 10-18 through a nautical theme, based on traditions and values of the Royal Navy in extra curricular education and training. Objectively we aim to give young people the best possible headstart in life, laying the foundations to support young people into further education and employment.

Maintaining a public subscribed estate of buildings for the benefit of the land army and volunteers. Making donations for local military benefits and Organisations of the Military, Cadets and Regimental Associations being located in the building.

Suport the observance of Judiasm for the local Jewish population;an educational service to schools/other groups/local authorities about Judiasm;Help spread tolerance and understanding of all faiths/beliefs;observe special occassions like Holocaust Memorial Day/Royal British Legion Poppy Days/Various Armistice Day and National Arboretum functions/Cenotaph etc.

Assisting in the area of Plymouth Naval Command, in cases of need, persons serving or having served as members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Nursing, Womens Services, Reserves or Auxilliary services or being dependent spouse, widow or widower and to Promote the efficiency of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines by providing recreational facilities and amenities.

In making grants towards: (1) Relief of need to serving, ex serving members of the regiment and/or their dependants. (2) To promote the efficiency and Esprit de Corps of the regiment. (3) Maintenance of regimental chapels.

Uniformed youth organisation providing training and adventurous actiivities for young people aged 10 to 17 years. Using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.Cadets can gain nationally recognised and accredited qualifications such as Royal Yachting Association, British Canoe Union, BTEC, D of E and much more.
