Armed forces Charities

We are an independent youth charity, affiliated to the Marine Society and Sea Cadet's National Charity. We train cadets in waterborne activities within a disciplined environment based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

Beneficiaries are to include British Red Cross Society, East Cheshire Hospice Millbank Drive Macclesfield, Salvation Army, RSPCA, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, Macmillan Cancer Relief, National Trust, British Heart Foundation for the benefit of the Knutsford Branch, PDSA, RNIB, Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Children's Society RNLI and Wood Street Mission

To help young people get the best possible start in life through nautical adventure & fun

Archivist relating to the Polish Underground State and the home army known as Armia Krajowa. Also education, particularly regarding WW2, awareness relating to Polish heritage and history.

To provide emotional support and relief for sufferers of cancer and to help them with counselling and bereavement support.

To foster comradeship and welfare work amongst present and former members of Her Majesty's air forces.

1. Regimental reunions 2 per year, run by the Cheshire Regiment Association through Regimental HQ. Branches organise reunions and social events throughout the year. 2. Assist with the running of 15 CRA Branches groups through the main Regimental HQ.3. Assist Cheshire Regiment veterans who require relief in need in finding appropriate support.

Originating from the Seaforth Highlanders Regimental Association, Leicester, where the regiment recruited widely during both world wars. Today the band exists to honour and remember those men of Leicestershire who served in the regiment and those died in conflict and to promote the education of the public in the highland arts, namely piping, drumming and highland dancing.

Raising money to support branch activities and national charities of a nautical nature. To assist any charity when its support is to the benefit of the reputation and best interests of the association, and to support any youth organisation with a specific nautical connection such as sea cadet associations and sea scouts

- Find, record and responsibly dispose of underwater litter from the sea/freshwaters of Pembrokeshire and when applicable other regions with volunteer divers;-Collect data on the distribution, nature and amount of underwater litter and its environmental impacts;-Spread awareness of the presence of marine litter and the environmental threats it causes;Educate the public to reduce marine litter;

The Foundation's objective is the relief of sickness and the promotion of health in children and former members of the armed forces who are mentally or physically disabled. The ultimate goal is to build a unique property for providing or assisting in the provision of respite holidays at Habitat First Group sites.

To advance the education of young people for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by making grants and awards to students in full-time education and provide advice and information.To promote the history of the Royal Air Force Apprentices ( 1920 - 1993).

to support RAF branch at Llandaff &Ely raising funds for present and ex service personel ,in respect of welfare.

To help young people towards responsable adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

- To advance the Christian faith, to relief sickness and financial hardships and to promote and preserve good health through use of funds, goods or service including counselling and support; and to advance education in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees from time to time mar think fit.

SUPPORT NAVAL CHARITIES

The Branch promotes comradeship and contact between serving,former and war veteran membersof the Parachute and Airborne forces regiments, and widows of ex-members, to provide aid andassistance, and to organise social events and outings.

THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE FURTHERANCE OF THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF THE MILITARY LIFE OF THE VICTORIAN ERA, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE BRITISH ARMY AND THE ARMIES OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE. THE PERIOD COVERED IS BETWEEN 1837 AND 1914. THE SOCIETY IS INVOLVED IN LECTURES, EXHIBITIONS AND ASSISTANCE WITH RESEARCH BY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC INTO FAMILY HISTORY.

Provides a safe environment to teach children between the ages of 10 and 18 about the Royal Navy, discipline, seamanship, engineering, sailing, rowing, and many other skills.

To administer, investment income, voluntary contributions from the Ship's Company of HMS PRESIDENT, and from others with an interest in the Unit in order to make charitable donations to encourage recruitment, increase military efficiency and relieve hardship and distress for members and the families of the Royal Naval Reserve in Greater London.

Welfare of serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

PROVIDING PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES AND THEIR FAMILIES.

The purpose is to hold, conserve, enhance, interpret and exhibit the regimental collections of the former auxiliary military forces raised in Buckinghamshire.
