GENERAL COMRADESHIP OF EX ROYAL NAVAL AND ROYAL MARINES AND WRENS.

The Royal Marines Volunteer Cadets Corps (RMVCC) is primarily geared towards field-based activities and training. We also have Royal Marines Cadets Bands.

To promote the efficiency of the regiment and maintain its traditions and Esprit de Corps, in particular, but not exclusively, by publishing a journal of the regiment or it's battalions.

The Charity supports distressed members of the Lodge and their dependents, and other registered charities.

ROYAL NAVAL ASSOCIATION

RAFA Newcastle & Gateshead Branch 0370 meet the 1st Monday of the month's from February to December for social gathering of it's membership. The Branch is active in raising funds, via authorised Local Authority street collections, in store etc. for the Association's Annual Wings Appeal. Also carries out Welfare/Social visits on behalf of RAFA and the RAF Benevolent Fund for defined groups.

Street/club box collection for RAFA 'Wings' appeal remitted to RAFA HQ (charity no. 226686) annual in September.

The Royal Air Forces Association is a charity, which promotes the welfare and comradeship of those who have served in the Royal Air Force, and their families. It is able to provide welfare advice, respite care and financial advice and/or assistance to those members who need it. Through its Royal Air Force Liaison Officer members, it allows a direct link between those who have served in the RAF

A Museum that is open to the public from April to October during the afternoons and at weekends, giving a detailed history of Monmouth Castle and the Royal Monmouthshire Engineers (Militia) Regiment.

The charity aim is to support the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum by providing funds for specified projects and organising events in support of the museum's activities.

The Museum's mission is the preservation and presentation of all aspects of Royal Marines history for the education and enjoyment of the general public.

We are a youth organisation based in Kingsbridge who are affiliated to the wider RAF Air Cadets which focuses on: - promoting and encouraging among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.- providing training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.- fostering the spirit of adventure and developing qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

Meeting other members of the organisation,whether at social events or ceremonial events and maintain the traditions of the Royal Navy, and support those in need.

Waterbeach Military Heritage Museum holds artifacts, photographs, paper ephemera largely of Waterbeach RAF Station and Barracks from 1938 to 2013 of RAF activities and 39 Engineer Regiment, occupations. Their units and personnel. Acts as a historical resource for the public and those who lived and served in the forces and/or as civilians during those years also for researchers.

The activities of the charity are the maintenance and upkeep of the Regimental War Memorial and surrounding gardens in Bedford Road, Kempston.

Charity to benefit 14 named beneficairies or such other charitable bodies and organisations as the trustees shall nominate during the trust period:- Cancer Research UK, RNIB, Institute of Cancer, NSPCA., NSPCC, RSPCA, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Arthritis Care, RNLI, Battersea Dogs Home, British Red Cross, Help the Aged, National Trust and RAF Benevolent Fund.

Youth organisation for young people using the themes of the Royal Navy. Activities: Adventure training, sailing, boating, power boating, ships visits, canal holidays, drill, seamenship.

Fundraising for the RAF Association Wings Appeal and Social and Welfare for the whole Royal Air Force Family and veterans.

Christmas Collections & fundraisers, Fetes, Car boots, Barn Dance & Quizzes. Senior Citizens Party Night & Brownie pack trip. Donated to Seeds of Hope, Around Again Social Supermarket, British Heart Foundation & Royal British Legion. Supply of mobility scooter.Regular Volunteer Drivers for Age UK, marshals, collectors and other assistance for local events, organisation & charities

The Royal Air Force Porthcawl and Kenfig Hill is a branch of the Royal Air Force Association formed in 1918 to provide help, advice, assistance, comradeship and where required welfare for serving and former members of the RAF.

THE OBJECT OF THE RNVCC IS TO HELP AND EDUCATE CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 9 AND 18 YEARS THROUGH THEIR LEISURE ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SOCIAL CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS ADULTS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY

Unit of the Sea Cadet Corps, with about 50 cadets, boys and girls, aged 10 to 18, who meet twice a week in the evenings for training and who sail on Saturday mornings in the summer. The aims are to encourage young people towards responsible adulthood. The Royal Navy provides uniforms and some training and operates a rigorous inspection system. Each unit is an independent charity.

The branch has ex service and current members of the Royal Navy together with associate members who wish to join our social meetings, outings and fundraising and also may require help, advice and information.

The object of the Club is to encourage skill in shooting by providing instruction and practice in the use of rifle and pistol to any of Her Majesty's subjects so that they will be better fitted to serve their country in the Armed Forces, the Territorial Army or in any other organisation in which their services may be required for the defence of the realm in times of peril.
