Oulton Village Hall exists as an amenity for anybody who wishes to use it. It can be hired for any reasonable purpose and at the moment is used for a variety of regular groups which include, folk dancing, table tennis, water colour painting classes, W I , scouts, parties, weddings and It is run and cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers who all live locally.

The objectives of Dance Art Foundation are: (a) to advance education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular, but not exclusively the art of dance.(b) to relieve individuals who are suffering from physical or psychological illness or disability by the provision of facilities for them to participate in dance and the arts for therapeutic purposes.

Sapphire Supremes Majorettes is a dance troupe based in Stanley, Wakefield. We train all age ranges to perform baton twirling, pom pom and military dance routines with a view to competing locally. We also perform at galas and other community events.

Dramatize is a professional charity, providing a range of theatrical workshops for adults with learning disabilities. Our aim is to make Theatre accessible for all and to change perceptions of artists with disabilities. This will be achieved by educating and furthering the personal development of our service users and ensuring they have experiences within the Arts sector.

We provide sporting & recreational activities to children & adults including table tennis, martial arts, . room hire for public and private meetings such as the Over 50's Computer Club, Irish Dancing, Over 55 luncheon club, toddles group councillors surgery and residents group. A local history group meet at the Club. A Church Group uses the building on Sunday mornings.

We are a local community hall. Used by local organisations to carry out and raise funds for their activities, individuals for private functions, a film club, an annual dance festival and the pantomime society holds its annual pantomime and shows. Currently, the hall provides a two day per week Post Office, following the closure of the main Post Office in the village.
