Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

The Stanion Village Hall Association runs the Stanion Village Hall through a Management Committee. The Hall is used by local social and sports organisations on a weekly or monthly basis and is also available for bookings for parties, weddings and other events.The Committee also organises a number of events for local residents including a barn dance, a New Year's eve party and a Christmas Fayre.

Hold weekly sequence dancing nights, short mat bowls in winter, three different styles of karate, three different probus groups meet at the centre, private hire, keep fit groups, two different styles of line dancing each week.

Preserving & using a 3-bedroom Victorian house as a Community Centre for all ages with a large garden & conservation area. Meaningful activities & education for advancement of young people. Non-alcohol premises. Table Tennis, Safe environment for women & children.Tai Chi, Activities for the elderly, Ballet, Maths, English, Music & fun for mums & babies, Yoga

To participate in acting, singing and dancing and put on a yearly show for the local community in the October half term.

(I) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE ART OF THEATRE AND PANTOMIME AND THE ASSOCIATED SKILLS OF DRAMA, MIME, DANCE, SINGING AND MUSIC (II) TO MAKE SUCH GRANTS AND DONATIONS FOR SUCH PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE ACCORDING THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.

We provide facilities for educational and sporting groups, including WI, Square Dancing, Morris Dancing, Keep Fit (Pilates, Yoga, Sitting Fitness, Table Tennis, Social Club, Craft Club,. We also bring Touring Arts to the hall so that those who are unable to visit large centres can take advantage of music and drama in their own village.We also provide Post Office outreach facilities

To produce a biennial series of performances for an audience of a Boxford Masque (a play with music, dance and drama) based on the original scripts of Charlotte Peake as a community event in the local area

The objects of Voices of British Ballet are to advance the education of the public in the study & understanding of ballet, dance & related arts in their historical, social & artistic contexts. When planning our activities for the year, the Board of Trustees were primarily directed toward seeking funding & within the limited amount of funds currently available, recording & transcribing interviews.

Community hall run by a SMALL group of volunteers. The hall is used by a variety of groups including =Drama & Dancing. Local council activities.Art & Crafts.Over 60s group. Pre School group.The hall is also hired out to various organisation which promote learning and development.

Our aim is to allow people, regardless of race ,religion or sexual persuasion, to hire our hall at a reasonable rent, for music dancing and their own activities. W e have a licence for music, dance, films, ect. The hall holds a maximum of forty people .

Yoga, dancing, outings and arts and crafts activities.

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides run from our HQ. Hall & facilities hired to different groups, eg dancing and gardening plus functions for the community of Goring.

Organise an annual Festival of Dance for 3 - 18 year olds.

Upkeep and running of Village Hall which provides a venue for many local activities including Playgroup, Toddler group, Badminton, Bowls, Ballet and Dance classes and meetings plus hiring out to local people for private social events.

The charity manages a community space for the use of residents of the Balsall Common and Berkswell parish councils and surrounding districts. We provide some activities ourselves such as community events, community cinema, food share cafe, short mat bowls and table tennis. We also hire out the space for community activities which include dance, exercise, education and parties

Fitness, carpet bowling, dance class, barkway players, ZUMBA, Pilates, karate, parties & other village events.

Judo Club, Wine Circle, Library, Women's Institute, Dance Groups, Film Club.Informative talks, and various social activities including annual Village Fayre, occasional theatre production.Children's parties.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged between 10 and 26 Years. YFC gives members the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in areas like, public speaking, sports, culture (dancing, drama, entertainments & pantomime) stockjudging and social events and meetings. YFC is member led with skills such as chairmanship, secretarial, treasurer, programme planning & leadership taught.

The IWMDDF was established to advance, promote & encourage the study & practice of the arts of music, dance, speech & drama. It aims to introduce new classes to the festival, encouraging those of all abilities to enter. If funds allow, it would also like to highlight exceptionally talented students & provide them with opportunities to perform at other events, such as federation summer schools.

SEMINGTON VILLAGE HALL situated in the High St .Used by Post Office 2 mornings a week. Local Bridge club use it twice weekly. Coffee mornings onThursday at 10am. Bingo in the club lounge 7.30pm on Mondays.Skittles are played by 3 ladies and 3 mens teams in the winter and by a mixed team in the summer. The W.I. Zumba dance and the Stompers also are regulars.

Iwade Village Hall provides a meeting place for the residents of Iwade and of the surrounding area.The Hall facilitates community activities such as: Rainbows, Cubs, Beavers, Scouts, Clubs, WI, Nurseries, Dancing, Keep Fit and as a venue for private gatherings, assemblies, presentations etc.This list is not restrictive, neither is the use of the Hall solely limited to the residents of Iwade.

The Miner's InstituteIs the focal point of many local social activities in the Llynvi valley Activities include Social Bingo and meeting point, Home of Nanty Youth Club, Private Gym in Basement complex. Children's Playgroup Ballroom and Street Dancing.and Jazzband practice.Social activities for the local rugby club & other local social events.Venue for Educational & Training Activities.
