Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

We run a village hall for community use. Regular groups include W.I., yoga, line dancers, bowls, martial arts. Keep fit groups and dance classes. We are available for parties & any one off activities we endeavour to keep rental down as low as possible.

We are a London based dance company which provides people of 55 years plus with opportunities to develop their skills in contemporary dance and choreography and perform original works at a variety of events, festivals and venues in London and further afield. We aim to promote the benefits of dancing to our members and a wider public, whatever their age.

WE HAVE RESUMED THE SUPPLEMENTARY CLASSES OF ENGLISH, MATHS, FRENCH AND SPANISH TO PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS, SUPPORTING THEM WITH THEIR HOMEWORK. WE HAVE ALSO INTRODUCED SOME ASPECTS OF CITIZENSHIP.WE HAVE ALSO RESUMED OUR FORTNIGHT AFRICAN DRUMMING AND DANCING AND STORYTELLING.ALL THE ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE IN TOTTENHAM IN THE BOROUGH OF HARINGEY.

We can be found in the Pyramid Centre at Bretton on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm The club has a disco run by members on the first Wednesday of every month, judo classes twice, dance classes once a month. Regular activities include Wii machine, pool table's table games and arts and craft activities. Our members enjoy occasional day trips throughout the year.

Providing an affordable space for Children/Adult Dance Classes, Latin Line dance, Tai Chi, Yoga, Over 60's (friendship club), Comer Ladies as regular groups.Used also by the local Community of St John's for Parties, Meetings, Charity events etc. The Hall is managed by volunteers/trustees of Comer Gardens Hall Association

Station Town Community Centre has a weekly tea dance, youth club, dancing school and cycle group. It is the host venue for Wingate & Station Town Family Centre's summer activity programme. The centre also provides a venue for hire for local organisations, businesses and local families.

We are a voluntary group who run our local community centre building. The building is available for hire for a range of activities from childrens birthday parties to ballroom dancing. Regular users include: Churwell Action Group, Striker Tots - football, Keep Fit, Pilates, Community Choir and Methodist Church.

We are a community centre based between West End and Townhill Park, regular users are various keep fitness classes, home schooling, dance classes, dog training. Also hired for private parties.

The activities we have is bingo and dominoes, we also have dancing and also a chat where they all have a good say about whats going on. I have quite a few that are disabled and enjoy coming and getting out, when its someone's birthday we make a party for them then they are not alone.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education in particular by the production of educational plays and the encouragement of the arts including drama, dance and song in the area of Killamarsh and surrounding areas in Derbyshire.

To spread the understanding and enjoyment of early music (music written before around 1800) to a wide range of ages, abilities and backgrounds. This is done through the provision of an annual music festival, outreach activities throughout the year and the promotion of Early Music and Dance through links with other local organisations.

Our objectives include providing recreational facilities for adults with learning disablities. Allowing members to socialise with their peers in an informal setting. Activities include bingo,darts,ball games & music to dance to.We encourage social interaction/ speech by conversation with peers & staff over a soft drink or a cup of tea & snack..We offer help & advice as required to members carers.

Annual Music & Drama Festival held February/March.Affiliated to The British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech
