We develop and deliver a range of creative arts and community projects offering wide ranging benefits to people in the Chapel St area of Salford. Weekly activities at community venues and outreach projects include mixed media arts, watercolour painting, music, dance, and photography & digital media offering increased skills, knowledge of local heritage, improved health and community engagement.

The Society promote Punjabi language through direct participation of poets, writers, journalists and artists from all communities and background. Its activities take the form of poetry symposium, teaching of music and dance, lectures and exhibitions on Punjabi heritage, support publish works of local writers and organise live entertainments programmes.

The principal objective of the company is to advance the education of the public in general in the appreciationand performance of ballet in all its forms and the promotion of the ballets and heritage of Sir Frederick Ashton inthe United Kingdom and throughout the world.

The charities activities include dance displays for public benefit, bag packs in local supermarkets, raffle, hosting fairs, cake stalls, collecting wish tokens, easy fund raising, table top sales and ceili nights.

The Charity advances education and promotes the performing arts of music and dance and knowledge of Parliament and parliamentary democracy, with particular reference to the Commonwealth. It does this through the staging of events, publishing information, collaboration with and support for other bodies and the award of grants to enable participation by those from under privileged backgrounds.

We've a sustainable( NHS) process for dancers to access expert sports and dance injury help, and are focussing on raising our profile in the dance community so dancers will know where to turn to if injury strikes.We help with dancer prehab , rehab and additional advice, preventative measures and additional treatment where NHS treatment needs augmenting

We hosted a Winter Bazaar in December 2012, following that we also hosted a Ladies Night Dinner and Dance which was a huge success. In between these events we had coffee mornings and cake stalls. Most recently we organised a Children's Challenge, where the children had to organise a stall, manage the stalls and sell the game or product. We all had a brilliant time and various ideas!

Break it Down aims - in pursuit of its charitable objectives - to provide dance instruction to young people who would otherwise not be able to receive such services. The focus of the first year has been: developing models of operation and proposals for projects and funding; fundraising and the establishment of a website.

In 2016, we helped produced and perform The Tempest as part of the Women's Festival in Lesbos.
