Arts Charities That specialise in Festival

To provide arts and culture to Hunstanton and its surrounding area. To be fully inclusive and especially encourage the local youth population to get involved. To support and work closely with other agencies providing arts and culture.

During the year we have arranged monthly trips throughout the summer. There are weekly activities: coffee & chat, with games and other activities as arranged. There are also other occasional activities - fundraising with Christmas and Easter fairs, Darlington carnival and a Christmas lunch.

Each year a Spring Festival is held. This is either a contest in which bands perform a short concert, or a solo & quartet contest, or a sectional workshop and an evening concert performed by one of the top brass bands in the country. The Charity also holds an annual training day for brass players of all ages & abilities. The tutors are players/conductors from the top brass bands in the country.

The Charity manages and maintains The Coronation Hall, Ulverston, a community venue and hub which hosts events, festivals, meetings and workshops. It provides support to organisations that utilise the Hall for the benefit and entertainment of audiences and encourages participation in community, arts and charitable activities that strengthen the cultural life of the area.

Advance the Christian religion mainly, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and distributing literature on Christian religion to enlighten others.Relieve and combat poverty, distress, financial hardship, and sickness.

The charity provides a language and culture school to enable children of Thai heritage living in the area of benefit to maintain an understanding of their Thai heritiage. The charity also organises an annual Thai Festival which raises funds for the school.

Promotes the Arts

Organises prayers groups, religious seminars and public celebration of religious festivals to promote religion.Prepares extra curriculum activities such as theatre, music and dance for children and young people to support them to build up their skills and abilities.Provides used clothing, basic grocery shopping, temporary accommodation, small grants to those in need to relieve poverty.

Organisation and running of an annual festival consisting of Music, Dance, Speech and Drama. Open to people of all ages and abilities. There is a specific part of the Festival aimed at local schools to try and encourage the children to take part in the performing arts.

Raises funds and makes donations in support of the activities of principally Les Azuriales Opera Festival, including its Young Artist Programme, and secondly other organisations who are working to increase the accessibility to, improvement of standards in, assist young performers training for and provide education in relation to, opera

To promote music and the arts in the local community by providing a platform for young musicians and artists to perform and display their talents to the local public.

For the public benefit, to promote and advance for the public the appreciation of and education in music, through concerts and other musical activities, particularly in, though not restricted to, the area of High Barnet.

Currently, a music festival that provides an opportunity for, but not exclusively, school age students to perform in front of an audience and to receive a professional adjudication. It is an annual event run in March chiefly at Worksop College but also at The Crossing Church and Centre and Outwood Academy Portland.

KYJO is a non-profit organisation created to provided talented young musicians with tuition and opportunity to play a mix of modern composition, jazz standards, jazz-rock, jazz-funk and similar big-band jazz. To provide a succesful speech & drama & music festival for all the community including schools and people of all ages to take part using professional adjudicators.This is an Annual Event and in Saltash Wesley Church.We are affililated to the British Federation Of Festival and employ Professional Adjudicators from the Federation.

Events include: selling light-sticks at the Bonfire & supporting the annual event; Santa Float collections; running stalls at local arts festivals; arranging window walks; sponsored races and many other varied evening events.

TO RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO PUT ON NEWTOWN'S ANNUAL CARNIVAL WHICH INCLUDES A PROCESSION AND EVENTS IN THE TOWN HALL GROUNDS. THIS IS AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ESPECIALLY THE CHILDREN. ANY SURPLUS MONEY IS THEN DISTRIBUTED TO LOCAL ORGANISATIONS.

Provide in the provision of facilities in Nottinghamshire in the interests of social welfare for recreation occupation for everyone

To further and promote the work of the Cheltenham Music Festival

The Abingdon Music Festival Association provides opportunities for young musicians (and non-professional adult musicians) to give performances as conductors, singers or instrumentalists in front of an audience, and to be assessed by experienced adjudicators.

We hold our activities in both public and private places depending on the activity/place availability. Our activities include:- Children activities such as play groups, cultural awareness workshops- Coaching sessions- BBQ picnics- Festival celebrations including Eid El-Fitr, Eid El-Adha and Sudanese independence day (once a year)- Open days (usually once every 3 months)

To advance the culture and cultural heritage of the Fullah people in the UK and Sierra Leone by organising cultural festivals and related activities and working to establishing a Fullah cultural centre in the UK for the benefit of Fullah people living in the UK and local communities interest in learning about the Fullah culture

The Charity promotes Scottish Country Dancing with classes, dances,demonstrations, socials and participation at local festivals. Classes are provided at beginner intermediate and advanced level.
