Provision of a community library and associated services

We are a PTA of a small infant school of less than 100 students. We fundraise by organising school events such as Christmas and Summer Fairs, quiz nights and social events. We use our funds to buy equipment and resources for the children in the school such as computer equipment, carnival costumes, games, books and other resources.We have also raised large sums of money through sponsored events.

Our aim is to raise awareness and educate the public about the life and works of Thomas Brassey - the World's most prolific builder of railways in the 19th Century, but still relatively unknown. We support teaching tours by swamis visiting Europe, and assist students wishing to study and work at Yasodhara Ashram, Canada. We also import and sell Yoga books and other teaching materials.
