We raise funds for the village school by organising activities for the children (Christmas and Summer Fairs, discos, circus visits) and for the local community (Quiz Nights). We have contributed towards an outdoor adventure play area, classroom, stage and science garden, a stage and new dining chairs for the school hall, a suite of laptops, books, building work and smart televisions.

Various activities including book fairs, quizzes, supermarket and street collections, sponsored events and smaller events to raise money for a variety of charities and good causes and to fund rotary projects

We regularly fund raise for the upkeep, repair and improvement of facilities in the building and surrounding land. We are the main social centre for the residents of Timble village. Our fund raising efforts include annual events (bonfire parties, quiz nights, theatre productions etc). Monthly coffee mornings are also held. All members of our surrounding rural community support these events.

The Northern Mine Research Society is dedicated to the preservation and recording of mining history. As such the society makes grants to individuals and organisations in furtherance of these aims, as well as sponsoring or undertaking research itself. Research is published in the British Mining series of journals.

Organising conferences, seminars and educational visits related to the history, development, manufacture and design of wallpapers and their preservation and conservation. Undertaking research and disseminating the useful results by means of a journal and online publications.

Support of the research and publication in the history of Parliament, with particular reference to supporting the journal 'Parliamentary History' and publishing the Parliamentary History Texts and Studies series. We hold conferences and publish the proceedings.

Christ Champions main purpose is to advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public through the holding of worship, prayer meetings, broadcasting gospel messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature, public celebration of religious festivals such as Easter, Christmas; producing and/or distributing literature on Christian doctrine to enlighten others about the Christian faith.

Our activities are in line with the National Federation of Women's Institutes. At the monthly main meeting we usually have a guest speaker or an activity of interest to our members. During the month further sub groups are held at members' homes or at a suitable location for the activity. E.g. textile or paper crafts, book club, theatre outings, choir, walking group, coffee club, games group etc

We are a school parent teacher association with 2 main focuses:1. Raising money to support the school funding projects including IT, library,etc. 2. Organising and delivering social events for the pupils and parents to encourage community development.

Fundraising activities such as Jumble Sales, Quiz nights and catalogue sales are run to provide funds to enhance the children's school environment and experience. Projects supported include providing play equipment, maintaining pond and swimming pool, subsidising theatre trips, buying books and computer equipment and providing a Year 6 Leavers' party.

Maintain and operate a building containing meeting rooms, a snooker club and a computer club and a library staffed entirely by volunteers.Also two rooms housing a model car museum.

The Charity will aim to save Uyghur identity, culture, heritage, customs & traditions, language and history.Will introduce Uyghur culture, history and social values to the world and bring forward all the difficulties they are facing due to violations of their human rights in East Turkistan. Will organize community events, seasonal Uyghur language school and publication of educational magazine.

To educate the general public concerning the on-going excavation and restoration of the 25th dynasty tombs in the South Asasif area of the West Bank, Luxor, Egypt, by means of lectures, study days, publications and conferences.

ABMRC provides biblical resources, both digital and physical books, and training to resources African Christian leaders. We raise and provide finances to support the above initiative in the United kingdom and African countries, so that Christian leaders can mature and fulfil their mission to their local communities.

We work with people of all ages and abilities and community project using theatre, drama, film, music and art to help develop confidence, aspiration and to address issues within the community. Currently we are working with; young people producing an online magazine, adults on fringe theatre projects, community groups to help develop the skills and confidence of volunteers

Raising money for school equipment. Events includes the spring ball, discos - parents and children, christmas market, toy book and bun, carols on the green, fun runs, autumn fare and quiz nights. Our aim is to raise funds to allow the school to make purchases that the school budget does not cover.
