The Charity managers the Bradwell Reading Room Trust and the Community Library currently use the building to service book lending to the residents of Bradwell.

Offers technical advice and demonstrations of accuracy. Also offers access to library facilities for students and researchers and any interested party in motor and aviation history. Also has facilities for meetings for clubs, societies and similar groups.

The Centre for the Child Trust Fund is a legacy fund, and was set up for a) the advancement of the education of children; and b) the advancement of the education of parents and carers in the care, education and bringing up of childrenthrough services and activities in the Centre for the Child in Birmingham Central Library

Financial help to assist study at school or institutions of higher or further education and to help applicants on leaving those institutions (or school) to enter trade or profession. Trustees will give greater consideration to items needed over and above course fees or general maintenance, e.g. books, outfits, specialised clothing,field trips,particular pieces of equipment, instruments,etc.

The charity gives financial assistance to residents of the village who need a little help with things like educational books, opticians fees, travel expenses for hospital appointments etc

The Charity gives money to individual people or organisations providing they reside in the civil parish of Shaw Cum Donnington. The Trustees only donate money if it is a deserving case. The Charity advertises on notice boards in the parish and the Church magazine.

TO PROVIDE BOOKS TO CHILDREN ABOUT TO LEAVE PRIMARY SCHOOL AND MOVE ONTO SECONDARY EDUCATION LIVING IN ILSINGTON PARISH FOR 3 YEARS OR MORE AND PROVIDE LIBRARY BOOKS FOR THE SCHOOLS IN THE PARISH

One or more local history exhibitions per annum. Liaison with local schools on matters of local history. Producing books and booklets on matters of local history. Monthly meetings covering talks on history and associated subjects. Organising occasional events concerning history. Historical tours/walks of Finedon.

In the absence now of either a Public Elementary School or a reading room/library (as detailed in the Scheme of 1901) funds from this Charity might typically be usd to support other charitable institutions such as Cratfield Village Hall or the playing field.

TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING BOOKS, SCHOOL UNIFORMS, STATIONERY AND SCHOOL MEALS TO POOR CHILDREN WHO ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND SCHOOL DUE TO POVERTY AND LACK OF RESOURCES IN BANGLADESH AND TO SUPPORT THEIR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH HELP AND SUPPORT TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT.

To provide assistance by way of grants to children attending higher education in the Winchester area whose home and/or personal circumstances are such that financial support for the purchase of books and other learning material is very beneficial.
