Pragma promotes and organises pre-retirement education across Greater Manchester and the North-west region of England by supporting and organising courses, producing and distributing literature and providing a referral and information service, and working with other organisations.

The purpose of the charity is to undertake research and issue publications. However none was undertaken during this financial year, although plans are in hand for further work. The charity has continued to maintain a presence to deal with past publications.

The charity's annual income is restricted in the form of rent received for land owned. Applications for grants are invited annually from residents of Gunthorpe, North Lincs to assist with the cost of books and tools required for courses of Further Education.

Our programme is a universal safeguarding tool. It is taught in schools using the Dot Journals to help every child realise their potential. The journals are used in lessons that help children learn how to identify when they feel safe and when they feel unsafe, helping them develop strategies to deal with danger and teach them who to urn to if they need help.
