We give awards each year for essays, articles, papers etc, but not books, on the subject of the history of food. Entry is open to anyone of any nationality, but the entries must be presented in English.

Our target to support 21 orphan children through primary education in Sierra Leone at Nashirr Islamic school. We are now in the third year sponsorship with School fee, books, uniforms and basic feeding. Since the new government has decided to introduce a free education in Sierra Leone (if it will happen) then we will increase assistance on feeding. Last year, we donated used clothing.
