The aim of the Julius Grant Essay Prize fund is to encourage research in the Paper Industry. The Committee ask for essay submissions and these are then reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges. The winner has their work published in a respectable industry magazine, there is also a -ú1000 prize fund.

The Keyham Educational Foundation supports the educational needs of those under the age of 25 years and who are resident or have parent(s) resident within the parish of Keyham. The educational needs include grants for seconday and tertiary education, financial assistance towards books, the arts, educational travel etc. The Charity also supports village groups partcipating in educational classes.
