The provision and maintenance of a library in Nether Stowey and a library service for the village and surrounding parishes. To promote for the residents and surrounding area a public library for recreation and/or other leisure occupation in the interest of social welfare. To advance the education of pupils in the school by organising fund raising events. Money raised is donated to the school to pay for activities, equipment or facilities that would not normally be paid for by the local authority. Equipment such as interactive whiteboards, well-stocked library and new learning areas have helped the school achieve Outstanding status by Ofsted in December 2008.

Broomhill Community Trust operates from Broomhill Community Library, 10 Taptonville Road, Broomhill, Sheffield, S10 5BR. The Trust was established to progress the development of the library building and its heritage garden, and also now operates the volunteer-run Community Library services and activities. It raises funds through donations, grants and developed revenue streams.

The BRSA is a parent teacher association that organises a series of events each year to raise money to provide additional funding for Bledlow Ridge School to purchase essential school items (PCs, whiteboards, library books etc). Instruction by qualified persons, using Royal Yachting Association course materials, in teaching leisure sailors the theory of navigation, radio procedure and diesel engine maintenance. To hold courses on practical small wooden boat building. To maintain property at The Quay in Wivenhoe Essex as a base for the above and to maintain a small nautical library and museum.

The PTA builds the school community, supports the school, provides a voice for parents and raises funds for St John's School, Clifton. Funds are raised via (1) Events such as Christmas and May Fairs (2) Gift aid giving and (3) Local business support, and are used for eg, new playground and ICT equipment and refurbishment of the school library.

The Church in Manchester advances the christian faith in Manchester by coordinating gospel preaching activities, the distribution of christian literature, Bible studies, meetings, conferences and trainings. Many of our activities are focused within the city of Manchester, but we also visit and coordinate with other cities to practice the one fellowship of the one Body of Christ.

The society provides lectures, excursions, visits, walks and study days, which are open to the public. The Trust exists to promote the work of Herbert Howells, by supporting performances, publications and recordings, and also to support the Herbert Howells Archives at the Royal College of Music. It also exists to give financial support for the music of St John's College Chapel, Cambridge, including the Choir, Organ and the musical education of the Choristers

The charity gives women the opportunity of working together & to develop their education. Bursaries are given to attend Denman, the NFWI residential college where arts, crafts, sciences and home economics are taught. Weekly and monthly activities are enjoyed by members. Tai Chi, Country Dancing, Book Club, Drama are some of the activities in which we are involved.

TO ADVANCE learning and Education on ORGANISATION DESIGN THROUGH research, PROVISION OF TRAINING, Conference HOSTING and providing A LIBRARY OF CURATED INFORMATION and PUBLICATIONs to members.

In addition to a monthy meeting which includes a guest speaker, and monthly coffee mornings we organise around 30 different study/interest groups who meet once or twice a month to pursue their chosen subject. These include Languages, History, Literature, Arts, Crafts, Geneaology, Discussion, Play Reading, Poetry, Creative Writing, Bowls, Line Dancing, Digital Photography, Walking and many others.
