AIMS & OBJECTIVESTO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF BRASS BAND MUSIC MAKING AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION IN THE SAID ART BY THE PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS, MUSIC FESTIVALS AND SIMILAR ACTIVITIES AND TO ENCOURAGE THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF PLAYERS OF ALL AGES BY THE PROVISION OF TUITION AND TRAINING FACILITIES

The charity provides and offers structured activities for young people aged 8-19 years, such as summer camps, music, art projects as well as other indoor & outdoor activities. We also offer training to volunteers who are interested in working with young people and other relevant training such as first aid, child protection, health & safety etc. We also offer achievement awards to young people.

Specific purposes prioritise support for young individuals with musical talent encountering social or financial hardship.

Perform choral concerts. Offer training in choral singing. Promote public education in and appreciation of all aspects of choral music with particular reference to young people. Engage with schools and provide opportunities for children to attend concerts. Commitment to a Young Singers' Policy giving young people the opportunity to perform in public along with professional singers and musicians.

People Need Nature exists to promote the value and need for nature in people's lives: through art, music, poetry, and literature;Inspire and create activities to celebrate the importance of nature and the need to protect nature;Gather evidence to highlight the value and importance of nature;Create innovative partnerships to celebrate nature;Advocate a fresh approach to valuing nature.

The Farnborough Concert Orchestra specialises in playing popular and light classical music to the general public. We perform four themed concerts per year. We perform in local venues such as schools and churches. We have a membership of over 35 players and a professional conductor and leader.

Victoria's Wish raises money by having events such as race nights, music/band nights, Tombolas, collections etc. we use the money by taking familes to events , giving grants for expenses that occur through the childs illness and providing short respite breaks for families.

Working in Purbeck to provide inspiration and opportunity to young people with instruments, concerts, workshops and music lessons.

Provision of facilities and activities to the residents of Messing and nearby .Hire of the hall and meeting room for events such as children's parties, charitable fund raising events, weddings, concerts, exhibitions etc to Messing residents and external hirers as deemed appropriate by the Committee.

The charities activities are to give young people in North Somerset the opportunity to learn, play and perform in a brass band. To enable them to do this they play a wide variety of music and play at many different venues throughout the school year.

The choir become involved in various charitable purposes and do various concerts to enable other charities and voluntary bodies to raise funds for various causes. The also put on concerts for the general public.

We perform choral concerts at low cost for the general public. We also donate to local charities. We also encourage young musicians by giving them the opportunity to perform in our concerts.

Making concerts & taking partin charity concerts in our role as a choir

The charity's principal activities are the once-a-week rehearsals in preparation for and the giving of public performances of major classic choral works on three occasions, normally Christmas and Easter and summer, every year. Occasionally, concerts support fundraising appeals by other charities.

TTB provides free one to one and group music tuition in the art of playing brass and/or percussion. Instruments are provided on loan to the members free of charge to anyone, young or old, who show interest in doing so. Public performances are given in theatres and at outside venues including parades, fetes, festivals and concerts. The main facility is at Saffron Road, Tewkesbury, GL20 5PN.

To further the public understanding and appreciation of music especially of operatic works by the study and public performance of such music and works.

The study and practice of Choral music in order to promote knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of performance for public benefit. Performances are mainly sung 'a cappella' with occasional solo instrumental accompaniment. Young performers and audience members are encouraged, and we actively support new composers from within the choir.

Raising funds for Church e. g. Calendars, Christmas cards + musical shows etc.

To advance public education about all aspects of Arab Islamic culture, including architecture, visual arts, music and literature by holding lectures and exhibitions and receiving applications for grants, support or sponsorship

The practice and performance of male choral music, not for profit, but to promote and continue the popularity of male voice singing whilst also raising money for charitable causes.

The Ipswich Orchestral Society performs three concerts per year for the public. We invite international soloists for two of these. Our third concert (family concert) we taylor to attract a younger audience - our aim is to introduce children to the pleasure of music making via a lighter programme.
