Serving the community with space for public meetings, indoor bowling, Boccia, Women's Institute, Gardening Club, Village Archive meetings, Parish Council, Theatre and Music events, Film Evenings. Fundraising to support and maintain the premises. Also hired out to individuals and groups.

The advancement of the art of music for the public benefit in the Chubut (Welsh settlement) region of Patagonia by providing musical instruments, including refurbished instruments, and other related resources to enable specialist school music teachers, musical youth groups and schools to play and learn music.

The Collegium Singers (formally Taunton Camerata) is a chamber choir based in Taunton, Somerset Our aim is to give public concerts & workshops that improve, develop & maintain public education in the art & science of choral music. The choir numbers 25, is open to all subject to audition and gives 4-6 concerts a year in Somerset & surrounding counties, many supporting charitable causes.

The promotion of Choral Music in Blackburn, through rehearsals, public performances and music workshops from time to time. Also offers free participation in choral music and enjoyment of concerts to younger members of the community.

Promotion of classical music, including the Essex Young Musician of the Year to encourage young performers.

Hire of hall for private functions, childrens parties, lectures, parish council meetings,concerts, live music nights, exercise classes, singing group, dance group, venue for local/national elections, hire of equipment ie tables chairs, crockery to other villages or privately, village celebrations.

Music organisation (brass band); promoting brass band music through public and private events such as contests, concerts and entertainment.

Abraham's Oasis UK raises awareness among the British public through concerts, speaking engagements, one on one contacts to provide a means to send contributions towards the activities of Abraham's Oasis in Ethiopia. Projects supported are for vulnerable children and at risk mothers who are given given total care and training for sustainable outcomes within Ethiopia.

The Charity is a Brass Band organisation based in North West Leicestershire. During 2012 the organisation played at many events including brass band contests, formal concerts, outdoor playing events, charity events and concerts for local authorities. Players have continued to excel individually with appearances as soloists and gaining graded exams. Training continues throughout the organisation.

The Village Hall is used by the local community and wider area for meetings, parties etc. We hold fundraising events such as teas to raise money to maintain and improve the Hall to keep it in use. We are parts of Arts out West and bring a variety of theatre, music and comedy acts out into the local area.

Organise the annual Martin Bequest Brass Band competion.This is to held one a yearly basis in Darlington or adjacent areas.

The performance of concerts and related activities

Alder Valley Brass is an amateur based brass band. The band aims to promote, teach and practice the performance of brass band music by means of competitions, concerts and by working with other musical groups. These activities enable the band to either directly raise monies for charitable purposes or assist other charitable organisations with their fundraising activities.

Community based activities. e.g Bistro Nights, Dances, Produce Market, Badminton & Table Tennis, Jumble Sales.Hire of rooms for, Committee meetings, private functions e.g weddings, parties, used by local school for concerts, soft play area & local Post Office also local interest clubs.Hired for VIA entertainers.

OUR GROUP PROVIDE A MEETING PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY WHERE HEALTHY LIVING ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE: KEEP FIT CLASSES, COMMUNITY CHOIR, SLIMMING WORLD CLUB AND MOTHER AND TODDLER GROUP. ROOM/ KITCHEN HIRE IS AVAILABLE; HALL ACCOMMODATES WHEELCHAIR USERS AND PUSHCHAIRS. WE PROVIDE COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING AFTERNOON TEAS, CONCERTS, DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING, FAIRS, TABLE TOP SALES AND POLLING STATION.
