Presentation of public, professional recitals and concerts of chamber music.

Newark & Sherwood Concert Band is a community wind band. Alongside Newark and Sherwood Development Band, the band provides ensemble performing opportunities for musicians of any age and of many abilities. It performs a number of public concerts each year.

BSW is a symphonic wind orchestra that stages concerts for the general public in a variety of musical styles and commissions and presents new works where possible in order to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects.

Providing self-help education to people over 50 and not in full-time education. Arranging outings to theatres and concerts and other places of educational and arts/culture interest.

Ffurfwyd y cor yn 2004 gyda'r bwriad i berfformio gwaith oratorio yn yr iaith yr ysgrifennwyd a ffurf (gyda gerddorfa). Mae 90 o aelodau ac mae'r berfformiadau yn cael eu gynnal ym mis Rhagfyr ac Ebrill. The choir was formed in 2004 with the aim to perform oratorio works in the original language and intended format (with orchestra). There are 90 members and concerts are in December and April.
