Southend Wind Orchestra was founded in 2002, and has built a reputation for excellence. Members come from south-east Essex, and range from school pupils through to senior citizens! We give concerts at venues around South Essex with a varied and challenging repertoire. Playing standards are a minimum of grade 6 for rank and file players, principals must be at least grade 8.

Over the past many years, we have been providing local communities, help assistant and supports in Community Translation, Housing & Benefits Advice, especially supporting unemployed and disabled people providing in South Asian Music activities lyrics/ musical composition's and training/workshops. We now also have qualified Volunteer staff in{CBT} Cognitive Behaviour Therapy helping people most.

Our current work entails organising and putting on a music festival called The Grey Dog Festival. This will involve specially selected bands and singers performing and also talking about their own experiences of mental illness. The overarching aim of the festival is to challenge the stigma of mental ill health with a particular focus on young people.

Support the allotments holders by maintaining the sitesSupport two local brass bands which historically were associated with the local colliery when it was open.In conjunction with the local football team we support local youth to play football,also assist in providing local entertainment on the football premises.Similarly with the local cricket team assist in using the premises and equipment

We hold an annual competitive music and speech/drama festival for children young people and adults.Our main objective is to advance and encourage the study and practice of the arts of music, speech and drama, and to provide a platform for the performance of them.

The Redditch Orchestra is local amateur orchestra open to any players of orchestral instruments with a playing standard of at least Grade VI. It is organised on an 'evening class' basis with weekly rehearsals during 'school' term time cullminating in a concert performance at the end of every term.

The organisation encourages people to play a musical instrument and to be part of an orchestra/wind band. Membership is open to all with no restriction on age or ability and instruments are available to loan to members.Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings during term time at Nelson Little Marsden Parish Centre from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm and public performances take place throughout the area.

Little Bytham Village Hall is used weekly by various local groups ie, Guides, Brownies & Rainbows. Also a very talented art group meets every week. We are regularly used by our Parish Council and local churches . Our hall is also used by local people for children's parties, weddings, bingo, quiz evenings, concerts and specialist talks.

Rehearsing and performing music and providing musical tuition to others

Ellesmere Port Concert Brass aims to keep the tradition of the culture and performance of Brass Band music alive, particularly but not exclusively in the boroughs of Cheshire West and Chester and Wirral. To encourage musical education in young people by the provision of musical instruments and funding toward tuition.

Faust Chamber Orchestra has emerged as the leading force of a new generation making classical music fresh, comprehensible and inspirational in the concert hall. Adult amateur orchestra based in West Wales Haverfordwest. We provide classical music to church's and other establishments in aid of their chosen charity. We also provide a community orchestra serving the region
