Supporting and developing music education on the Isle of Wight

The association's main aim is to promote meetings for sharing knowledge and experience of organ playing and church music in general, together with occasional visits to hear and/or play historic or notable instruments. We aim to encourage and provide advice for potential young players. We now also have a bursary fund to provide financial assistance with tuition.

The objects of the Association shall be to advance the education of the public in the study of the art of music with special reference to liturgical and organ music and the pipe and electronic organs and their construction and use.

Cambridge Philharmonic operates as a choir and an orchestra performing music at concerts to the general public across Cambridgeshire and occasionally in other venues. The choir and orchestra sometimes perform separately but mainly in conjunction. Cambridge Philharmonic is committed to music for all and this is reflected in its repertoire and concerts specifically designed for children.
