Anker Radio is a Hospital Radio Service staffed entirely by volunteers. Broadcasting music and information to the patients & staff of The George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton 365 days a Year - 24 Hours a Day. We are members of the Hospital Broadcasting Association.

The principal activity is to promote, improve and advance education by encouraging the arts in general and medieval renaissance, baroque and classical music in particular.

To promote the Performing Arts by staging competitive festivals in Music, Speech & Drama & Stage Dance.

To preserve and maintain a rare pipe organ, and to promote the use of the organ in concerts and within an educational institution

It seeks to give all women the opportunity of working together through the WI organisations and of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

Brass band contests and concerts throughout Wales and the United Kingdom

The Llanrwst Chamber Music Society, an educational and cultural organisation, is a small charity devoted to promoting instrumental string music among amateurs. Two to four times a year it holds residential weekend courses at venues in North Wales and Powys, for a maximum of eight quartets, or a string orchestra, which receive coaching in their prepared works from professional musicians.

Promoting better and more widespread performances of instrumental work and educating the general public in the appreciation and understanding of music.

The organisation provides a wide range of opportunities and provision aimed at increasing knowledge, skills and achievements. We offer sports, games, arts & crafts, IT, drama, music and dancing. The education of the general public in the study, appreciation and practice of music and the allied arts by furthering and supporting the objects and work of Manchester Camerata in such a manner as the Trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit.

To provide educational and recreational facilities for the inhabitants of the Moortown and district of Leeds. Activities are :- bridge, bowls, snooker, tennis, table tennis, indoor bowls, dancing, keep fit, weightwatchers, U3A concerts, quiz etc. We also have a bar and main hall which are hired out for birthdays, weddings, anniversary's etc.

A fund established to give either hardship awards to parents of students at Chetham's School of Music who are in financial difficulties, or towards the maintenance of the Chetham's Foundation buildings.

Musical Theatre productions

The charity was a choir that met in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. First and foremost we enjoyed singing and met once a week. We held regular concerts to raise money for local and National Charities, including CRUK, British Heart Foundation, TWAM, and Ronald McDonald House Charities. We also, where possible, provided entertainment for local groups and clubs.
