Arts Charities That specialise in Opera

To provide financial assistance in cases of need, by means of regular and one-off grants and loans to past and present employees of English National Opera and its antecedent companies.

The objects of the charity are to educate the public of Abbots Langley and surrounding areas in, and increase their appreciation of, the operatic and dramatic arts.

We are an amateur theatre group performing musical theatre productions.

Presentation of musical theatre shows and concerts. Participation in local music-making activities. Presentation of educational events relating to musical theatre such as sight-reading, music theory, singing technique, stagecraft etc. Support for local people wishing to undertake musical activities. Encouragement of younger people wishing to undertake musical activities.

Presentation of musical plays, operettas.

Providing entertainment, education and appreciation of opera, operetta and all forms of music both in concert and fully staged productions to audiences at reasonable prices.

Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society at present performing five annual shows. Shows include pantomimes, plays, musicals and concert style shows (operatic/musicals).

we provide the local town and surrounding area with entertainment and involve all ages in the arts introducing a vast knowledge of theatre.

We give 8 to 18 year olds in Halifax and surrounding areas opportunities to be on stage, help out backstage, improve their acting, singing and dancing skills, boost their confidence, make life-long friends and have fun. We perform an annual musical, smaller concerts and use workshops to engage and develop their capabilities and skills for them to grow as independent, mature and responsible people.

WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MUSICAL SHOWS AND CONCERTS WITHIN NORTH TYNESIDE

General charitable objects and in particular to promote the education of the public in the arts of opera, music and dance by making grants to or for the benefit of The Opera Australia Capital Fund or to Opera Australia.

Arts/Culture - Annual Show staged March.

The Society was formed in 1972 with the aim of educating the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to develop public appreciation of these arts. Over 80 shows have been produced throughout this period. Shows and concerts are performed with the Telford Area with "The Place" (the theatre) being used to stage the major shows.

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further develop public appreciation and taste in said arts, through:1. the staging of "live" opera and operetta performances and concerts at various public venues in Cornwall and Devon and 2. an education programme aimed at involving the wider community, by means of school workshops and masterclasses.

THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS BY THE PRODUCTION OF PUBLIC STAGE PLAYS AND OPERATIC PERFORMANCES. IN THE LAST YEAR WE PRODUCED TWO MAJOR PRODUCTIONS AT THE STAG THEATRE IN SEVENOAKS AND TWO ONE ACT PLAY TO THREE DRAMA FESTIVALS.

Training and education within the Dramatic Arts

The Education of the general public in the appreciation of music and the arts.

The objects of the Society are to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation in the said arts.This involves performing shows/concerts comprising musical productions, works from Gilbert and Sullivan, and light opera. Shows are staged twice yearly at MAST Mayflower Studios with concerts at various locations around the Southampton area

Seaford Musical Theatre is a musical theatre company who perform in their own premises at the Barn Theatre, Seaford. Three shows a year are produced for the local community and the theatre is also available for hire to other organisations.
