Choir raises funds to advance Judaism and in particular Jewish Prayer, though participation in synagogue service; singing at public performances, in television/radio broadcasts, recordings and through other media; and for the purpose of healing through singing.

We do a variety of fund raising events to enable us to purchase items for the children which school funds would not be able to meet. We also hold fun events for the children such as christmas parties and video nights.

The CIO works for the advancement of the Christian faith by means of producing or distributing Christian literature including video or audio recordings and any other related media which is or may become available. Mixed Choir formed to bring choral music to the wider public both nationally and internationally through the media of concerts, radio and television including competition both at home and abroad and to encourage music appreciation to people in all walks of life.

The Samuel Crokers Almshouses (3) are maintained and funded from Bovey Tracey Town Trust investments and rental income from a TV mast erected in their field.

The Friends of Thetford Dad's Army Museum runs the Dad's Army Museum in Thetford which provides displays about the BBC TV programme and its links to the Thetford area as well as the Home Guard. In addition the Friends seek to participate in events and projects that will raise the profile of the Museum, one such project was the erection of a statue of Captain Mainwaring in Thetford in 2010.

The charity propagates the message of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj who is a renowned Saint in India & is associated with Satlok Ashram. The trustees are disciples of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj & propagate his teachings & worship of God Kabir by playing his discourses on television which anyone can attend (in Uxbridge). The followers also distribute free printed material (books, pamphlets etc) in the UK.
