Our horses are specially trained following the parelli natural horsemanship programme and our key personnel are highly qualified and experienced.

The main purposes of the Women's Institute organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions, in music, drama, all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare.

We are a Youth Centre open for any young person aged 13 - 25 years in the Adur Area. Activities at present include: Sports i.e. football, table tennis, pool, dodge ball; arts and crafts, dance, music, tv, junior leader training, educational training.

We operate in and around Poole and Bournemouth. We run a weekly programme of events, demonstrations, lectures, workshops, to which the general public is invited. We also manage a community art gallery, The Gallery Upstairs, in Upton Country Park, where we facilitate a regular programme of exhibitions by local art groups, charities and individual artists.

We provide various activities such as arts and crafts, pottery, salt dough, knitting group, crochet, lino printing as well as card making and mug printing. We also enjoy a small cafe type area where we serve hot drinks and members can play card and board games and enjoy chatting to their peers.
