To promote, maintain and advance public education in such charitable ways as the trustees see fit including the engagement and encouragement of arts and crafts including visual arts, performing arts, written arts and design arts.

The Trustees have the power to apply income or capital to the purchase of pictures, prints, sculptures, books, works of art as the Trustees consider to be of national, scientific, historic or artistic interest in connection with City of Lincoln. The ownership of items purchased to be transferred to the City, such items to be exhibited in the Usher Gallery or such other place in the City.

Art for Cure Enterprises (a wholly owned subsidiary of Art for Cure) hosts sales of art and sculpture and other events to raise funds which are subsequently passed up to Art for Cure for distribution in accordance with our charitable purposes.

The charity pays the income from the trust fund for the provision of scholarships for further education in the arts, music, study of ceramics and allied subjects, and for furtherance of study in heart surgery, to residents of Hong Kong. The charity awards grants to the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the provison of scholarships in accordance with these objects.

The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical , intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals and as responsible citizens. The Outdoor Collaborative, is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) that advances education in Greater Manchester in the art of photography and filmmaking focused on the outdoors, particularly amongst young people. The charity does this by providing guided walks in the British countryside whilst incorporating training to develop and improve digital media skills.

We seek to stimulate public interest in the area by encouraging the protection of features of historic significance, and by providing access to a maritime museum and shell art gallery in historic buildings we maintain. We support initiatives that enhance the continuing preservation and development of features in the area, and those that seek to conserve the historic nature of the area.

TO THIS END IT PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER , HOLDS LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS AND PARTICIPATES IN IN EVENTS WHERE THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO TRY THEIR HAND AT MAKING POTS ON THE WHEEL.
