Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world. Earley District run units locally to achieve this accomodating girls from the age of 5 to 65. A variety of activities are run including crafts, adventurous activities, singing, outdoor camping and opportunities to travel and stay away. Topics include the world, the environment.

General Meetings with visiting speakers are held monthly plus around 107 Activity Groups covering 67 educational, recreational, creative and leisure interests. Bere Regis Scout Group is a thriving, village-based group serving young people from a number of scattered, mainly rural communities. It has more than 80 young people in membership, evenly split between boys and girls, with 12 adult and 8 young leaders.There is a full range of activities for the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections including sports, camps, trips, and crafts.

Provision of a community centre for the benefit of the residents of Allhallows parish and surrounding area. Providing facilities for hire for running of activities for people of all ages and abilities. The Folkestone Art Society has been running art exhibitions in and around Folkestone since 1928. It also organises workshops and demonstrations on subjects related to the visual arts, publishes an annual art review and runs the FAS Gloria Gordon Award for Young Artists Sketch Books working with schools and colleges within Folkestone and the surrounding district.

We publish the results of research and may provide funding. We give grants for creating replicas of items that have been lost or destroyed and to support groups using the crafts historically used by the Ffestiniog Railway. We give grants to preserve the historic appearance of artefacts used by the FR. We encourage education of the railway's staff in heritage matters.

Chester Visual Arts co-ordinates visual art activities, putting on programmes of local, national and international events, exhibitions and public activities. It aims to provide a permanent public visual arts gallery in the City of Chester for the benefit and education of the wider and visiting public of the North West region.
