The Voysey Society has been founded to celebrate the life and work of architect and designer Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857-1941), one of the leading figures in the Arts and Crafts movement. We operate within the UK. We hold meetings; publish a journal and a newsletter; provide advocacy/advice/information; sponsor or undertake research; make grants to organisations.

Scout group activities include: camps & trips, various activities at HQ: arts & crafts, physical activity, social guidance, towards obtaining badges for various levels of scouting fundraising also undertake for other charities.

The aim of the charity is to create a safe, warm and welcoming space for local arts and crafts groups, ceramicists, needle workers, musicians, book groups, choirs, dance and drama groups, artists, performers and art exhibitors of all ages and abilities.

To advance the Christian faith in the UK and such other countries as from time to time may be determined, by training, promoting and financing Christian musicians and artistes in their work of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music,drama,dance and other visual means and by assisting churches and other Christian organisations and institutions in their use of music and the visual arts.

We operate an art gallery to advance the arts for the public benefit through the promotion of contemporary art, especially visual art. Our activities enable public education in the understanding, appreciation, production and practice of contemporary art.We also provide studio and workshop facilities and advice for contemporary artists who cannot afford to rent space at market rates.

We hold regular meetings on the third Saturday in the month with the exception of December.Some meetings have a business section followed by a talk or demonstration given by a visiting textile artist. Other meetings are used to practice and share our skills.We also demonstrate our crafts at local events and shows.

We provide a meeting place in Abbots Langley Herts where people with severe learning difficulties can meet up on a Monday evening.The club takes its members out bowling at least 6 times a year and to see a musical show in London once a year, the club meets at Abbots Langley Community Centre where we have many activities going on each week, Table tennis, Snooker, arts& Crafts, Coffee Bar ETC:

Sharon Miller Memorial Foundation raises funds to support the work of Strong Tower in Kenya. The funds are used to provide training in agriculture, animal husbandry, and crafts to enable women to to become self sufficient and provide for their families thus relieving poverty. Funds are also used to provide uniforms and sanitary wear to enable girls to attend school regularly.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

Ware Men's Shed provides a place for people to meet and socialise while doing crafting activities, such as woodworking. It promotes mental health, particular for people that are marginalised in society, for example through the effects of old age, unemployment or ill health.

Provides an information exchange on arts activities in the Parish of Wymondham, Norfolk, and adjacent areas; organizes a literary festival; operates a free admission gallery providing regular exhibitions with associated educational activities.

The charity arranges general meetings monthly when an outside speaker is invited to present an illustrated talk to members on a variety of subjects. Members are also able to participate in interest groups covering activities such as art & crafts, film & theatre, languages & literature, food & drink, card & board games and various sports. Rainbow is a non-profit, voluntary socio-cultural organisation, devoted to visual arts and films. The aim and objective of the Society is to advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of arts, particularly the art of film and allied visual techniques.Rainbow promotes the study and appreciation of cinema by means of lectures, discussions, and exhibitions.

Active in the community supporting the WI and providing facilities for various community activities including Pre-School, WI meetings, Dance classes, Yoga, Martial Arts, Crafting, Wine Talks, Scout Group and community events.

Keiskamma Friends UK continues to adminster and distribute funds received from our UK donors. Our aim is to offer long term financial support to health workers at this South African based AIDS charity. This is supported by fundraisers using the arts and crafts made by the women of the Keiskamma Arts Project.

Through membership of the Guild we promote high standards of making and design in a wide range of fine crafts. We also advance public education and awareness in crafts and craftsmanship. This is achieved through exhibitions, workshops demonstrations organised through our new gallery 18 Rotunda Terrace, Montpellier Street, Cheltenham, which opened 2022. The charity holds fundraising events and organised occasional activities to assist the work of Maidstone's museums and create greater access to their collections. The charity operates a Friends scheme and applies for grant funding to enable it to assist in the furtherance of public education by way of supporting, promoting, assisting and improving the Maidstone Museums and Art Gallery.

We organise village events including a Summer party every year. The Hall is let to private organisations including exercise classes, arts & crafts, special interest groups and children's activities. We also hire out to individuals, mainly for parties and weddings.

Promote & support local art gallery & museum, practically by volunteering help & financially by raising money through organizing excursions & talks held at monthly meetings. We also offer visits to other galleries, study days and holidays.
