Support to museums services

There were no activities in the year ended 31 March 2019 apart from some painting carried out on the Four Daughters.

Supporting The Future's goal is to positively impact children's and young peoples lives through sport. The work we do is currently in South Africa, specially in Cape Town and Lesotho. Most of the activities we run are sports sessions, tournaments, life skill classes and redevelopment activities such as painting and development of playing surfaces.

The group brings people into the borough's main museum, Cyfarthfa Castle, for regular meetings and lectures, to promote interest in the museum and gallery, and in cultural and industrial heritage. MTMHG donates items or gives grants towards purchases for the borough's museum, gallery or heritage projects.

The main activity of the Association in the past year has been:1. To promote the advancement of agriculture, horticulture, rural crafts and the breeding and rearing of livestock. 2. To hold an annual show for the exhibition of livestock, farm produce, horticulture produce, machinery and implements. 3. Generally to encourage education, skill, industry and good husbandry in agriculture.

We provide a safe and pleasant environment for parents, grandparents and carers to come and interact, have a chat & play with their children. We supply materials for craft making activities, painting, interactive music with multi cultural instruments, toys and a small soft play area which is age appropriate for 1 to 4yrs.

Our main objective is to inspire children to explore their creativity through Arts workshop ie drawing, painting, drama, dancing, music tuition and performance. We work with children who live in extreme poverty here in the UK and all over Africa.

Through the Rebecca Vassie Memorial Award we fund a new photo essay each year. We also offers photographers in our network the opportunity to pitch for funds to pay for a narrative photography workshop they'd like to run with the public, or to pay for an education, training or professional development opportunity. We put on free webinars open to all where industry experts talk and answer questions

Cater for young persons 10 - 26 years of age from rural areas around Ruthin. Training in cultural and home crafts, plus an opportunity to socialise and compete against other YFC Clubs in the county. Our aim is to try to develop these young persons to become responsible citizens in their areas.

To advance education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular but not exclusively the art of: drama, performing arts, visual arts, music, filmmaking, digital media, and combined arts activities.

Providing a social club for disabled adults and children giving respite for parents and carers.Club nights are every 1st3rd & 5th Tuesday each month we provide arts and crafts,quizes,cooking,games etc.

Raising awareness, providing arts and crafts packs for children's oncology wards, To offer 'fresh air days' by providing children's oncology wards with tickets to local amenities for the use of families affected by childhood cancer.

Prioritising the alleviation of poverty, especially in relation to children,Making grants to impoverished young people for educational purposes, especially in the fields of art and photography,Supporting projects and individuals that align with the charity's objectives.

The purpose of, South African Caribbean Association (SEACA) is to advance the education of the public, in the arts, crafts, culture, history and heritage of the African Caribbean community in Britain.We celebrate and share, African and Caribbean culture, acknowledging the traditions through different medias, be it education, film, music etc.The principal office of the CIO is in Southend, Essex

OUR CHARITY PROVIDES PLAY TIME SESSIONS FOR PARENTS, INFANTS AND TODDLERS THAT AID IN THE DEVELOPEMENT OF THAT CHILDREN THROUGH PLAY, CRAFTS AND MUSIC; AS WELL AS GIVING PARENTS A PLACE TO SOCIALISE WITH OTHER PARENTS OF CHILDREN OF A SIMILAR AGE. WE HAVE PLANNED DAY TRIPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT ARE BENEFICIAL TO ALL.

We provide a stay & play session for parents and their children up to school age in our local community hall. We have stories , crafts , games & snack during this session. New mothers can come along and have a chat and a cup of tea whilst older children socialize and make new friends.

The Well Community Hub, Arlesey run a weekly (term time only) drop in for people in the Arlesey area. We offer a space for people to talk whilst enjoying refreshments, and if desired to participate in activities (jigsaw puzzles, book exchange, arts & crafts). We are currently based at Arlesey Methodist Church, High Street Arlesey.

Meetings with Speakers, Social outings, promotion of Arts, crafts and cookery to members, also sporting activities. To promote friendship.

Yorkshire Icon Ltd is a registered charity set up to deliver and run a landmark sculpture and visitor centre for the benefit of the local community in Rotherham and the wider Yorkshire region, honouring the heritage of steel and coal and promoting the new technologies. Education, apprenticeships, community and place are central themes to running the charities objectives now, and in the future.

We assist with the purchase and maintenance of paintings and object d'art, and with financial support to museum events, museum projects, both capital and revenue, as requested by the Museum Team and agreed by the majority of Committee Members. We run a series of monthly educational lectures to bring history and the arts to the local community.

The King's Lynn Film Festival aims to promote the appreciation of, and education in, the arts and crafts and their associated technologies in relation to cinema and other forms of moving images by staging a biennial film festival and educational events and activities in association with this.

Currently focusing on providing recreational and guidance services to young people in Northamptonshire via arts and crafts projects, seminars, workshops and interactions to promote happy and healthy functionality and expression mainly in young people and also minimize the lack of purpose or nothing to do which lead to mental health issues, lack of social and work skills, misbehavior and crime.

Providing a Museum/Art Gallery and/or Educational Centre for the general public benefit and preserving, displaying and presenting artefacts and information relating to the History of Amesbury and surrounding area.

Time To Say No is focused on raising awareness about mental health but also providing services to help people deal with their mental health in a nonclinical setting this may be through sports, arts & crafts, drama and other activities such as coffee mornings. We are based in the Portsmouth, Hampshire area.
