Thomas Wolsey School caters for children with physical and/or sensory needs. Many pupils also have complex medical and learning needs. The Friends of Thomas Wolsey School fund-raise for large projects and to buy equipment to enhance the children's learning both in the classroom and outside. The Friends group also maintains the mini bus, funds the Christmas Party and the Leavers' Gifts every year.

PTFA Activities - for benefit of the school

The advancement of the education of pupils in the school in particular by 1 developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school;2 engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

To advance the arts education of young people up to 25 years old residing within Wigan Metropolitan Borough, and particularly in Tyldesley, Atherton and Leigh, by the provision of amenities, facilities, equipment and activities which would not otherwise be provided by the local authority.

The Friends work in association with the Churches Conservation Trust (registered charity no.258612) to enable increased use of this important civic building, for any appropriate public and educational purpose. About 80 events are held in St Nicholas' Chapel each year, especially for music including King's Lynn Festival Chorus concerts and during the King's Lynn Festival in mid-July.

The charity raises funds for North Crawley Church of England School to benefit the children.Recent projects include provision to an environmental area, play equipment and field visits.

Cedar House Care Home is a purpose built 42 bedded care home offering Dementia and Specialist care. The Friends aim to improve the quality of life of the residents of the care home by working with staff, residents and relatives.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE PARENTS, STAFF AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH BILLINGHAY CE PRIMARY SCHOOL. SUPPORTING THE SCHOOL IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS, AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL.

This charity is a PTA for Kenn C of E Primary in the village of Kenn in Devon. The objective is to raise funds for the school through fundraising events for children and parents, and sometimes the wider community. The PTA aims to involve all children and parents at the school and any funds raised are given to the school and used hopefully in ways which will benefit as many children as possible.

The Friends of Northenden Community School exists to support the pupils of Northenden Community School via the generation of additional funds through fundraising events (discos, summer fair, raffles, etc.), grant funding and the contribution of local businesses who wish to support the PTA and the school.
