The organisation provides a wide range of services to the Refugee community in west LondonMainly of Somali origin. such as; Poverty eradication, health, education, employment related, Skills development training, advice in housing, and welfare benefits, Advocacy, Youth Crime prevention project, IT& ESOL Classes, Overseas projects for Humanitarian,Sustainable developments in East Africa.

"The organisation will offer support to refugees, asylum migrants, and members of the Sudanese community both in Greater Manchester and throughout the UK. This includes addressing issues such as family reunion and family/child difficulties. It will also promote understanding of different cultures, as well as support Sudanese people outside the UK, including within Sudan and diaspora such as Egypt

Founded in 2014, MBC empowers marginalised communities through the medium of exercise. Our current exercise repertoire includes therapeutic yoga, strongman, powerlifting and climbing. The Insiders/Outsiders Arts Foundation was established expressly to support the year-long nationwide not-for-profit Insiders/Outsiders Festival, which ran from March 2019 until March 2020 and celebrated the contribution to British culture of refugees from Nazi Europe (see https://insidersoutsidersfestival.org/). Open Door is a weekly drop-in for refugees and asylum seekers in East Oxford. Around a hundred people use our service, with a weekly attendance of between 35-45. We provide a friendly, informal setting for people to meet, relax and have hot meal. We help with basic advice and signposting and enable our users to meet workers from other agencies. We work with the other local refugee groups.
