The Angolan Refugee Project exists to empower the Angolan community so they can participate fully in the development of their communities we actively involved in providing services to people of Angolan origin within the United Kingdom and aboard. The activities include the provision of information and advice, raising fund for projects in the UK.

Helping Iraqi Refugees in need

Advice and Support to Ethiopian community members and other disadvantaged groups in immigration, business, employment, education and Sports; provide awareness in Ethiopian history and culture; health, home work support and other areas of need; and other activities that would help in raising community confidence and well being.

It provides the following services: information and advice, education, health (HIV/AIDS) employment, immigration, welfare, translation and interpretation. Promotion of Congolese culture and teaching of mother tongue, hospital, prison and home visits. Collection and distribution of clothes, household and other essential items to new asylum seekers and refugees etc..

The charity has established a community centre which it maintains and manages for the benefit of the people of Middlesbrough and elsewhere. Currently the centre is being used by groups running a youth club, indoor bowling for disabled people and over-60's, keep-fit classes, self-defence classes, art groups and English language classes for asylum-seekers and refugees.

The trust applies to women who are from an immigrant or refugee background and who intend to practice or teach law in the UK. Awards are made towards Bar or solicitors' exams, pupillage, solicitors' training, or other legal placement or research in the UK or abroad.

The RYCA's activities focus on the health social and educational welfare of the Yemeni and various Arab communities in Rotherham. Due to Covid-19 outbreak we have decided to broaden our charitable activities to include support for key workers, NHS staff and hospitals in particular. We are currently supporting Pizza 4 NHS campaign in Hull which aims to provide pizzas and hot meals straight from local businesses to local Hull hospitals.
