We deliver community drop-ins in Manchester, providing free support, learning and social activities for refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants. Our provision includes information, advocacy, advice and support; English, employability and computer classes; creche; hot food; volunteering opportunities; destitution support and a programme of social and well-being activities.

The A21 Campaign is about abolishing injustice, in particular human trafficking, through Prevention, Prosecution, Protection and Partnerships with government and other agencies. Prevention initiatives inform the next generation to save them from becoming victims. Prosecution halts injustice now. Protection of those who have been trafficked is through our Crisis Shelters and Transition Programs.

We work mainly from our centre in Edge Hill, close areas where Asylum Seekers are housed and are best described as providing general assistance, specialising in help for the homeless. We work with approximately 3000 individuals a year, 250 of whom are registered with us destitute. The centre functions as a community centre, providing the safe space needed by Asylum Seekers to meet and relax.

The Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group provides emotional and practical support, through its volunteer visitors, to asylum seekers and immigration detainees held at Tinsley House and Brook House removal centres, near Gatwick Airport.

Room to Heal is a healing community for asylum seekers and refugees who have suffered torture and gross human rights violations. Unfold gets people where they want to be. Powered by volunteers, our one-to-one mentoring is for young people aged 10 - 25 and women with children over 5. Open to everyone, we target those who face the most challenges,with specialised programmes for refugees, peer support groups for women. The Charity will provide grants and other help (i.e. storage) to a range of charities and organisations to the direct benefit to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds (such as refugees, ex-offenders and people with learning or physical disabilities) by helping these individuals to gain employment. this also provides benefit to the public by lessening the individuals dependence on benefits.
