Barrow Pre School Playgroup is registered with Ofsted and a member of the Pre School Learning Allicance. Children can attend from 2 to 5 years of age, and we are based at the Methodist Church Rooms, North Street, Barrow-upon-Soar. We offer a wide range of activities including free play, various craft activities, small group work and story time to name but a few.

Morning sessions from 8.25am - 11.25am monday to friday, Afternoon sessions running 11.55pm - 2.55pm Monday to Friday. a lunch club is held every day 11.25 to 11.55. Home-Start is a voluntary organisation operating in the Erewash area. Offering trained volunteers to support families under stress with at least one child under 5 years of age. Volunteers offer regular home visiting emotional, practical and befriending support.

We deliver concerts (orchestral, choral, ensemble, chamber choir), recitals (wind, string & piano quintets, quartets and trios, vocal solo and duets), and opera performances and community projects, as well as free workshops and masterclasses for school children, a free children's choir and concerts and free open-air family concerts and pop-up public concerts in Hastings and the surrounding towns.

Peter Pan Playschool provides early years education for 2-4 year olds following the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer term time sessions every weekday morning Monday to Friday, with optional extended hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are a packaway setting, based in the church hall at Eastwick Road Church in Bookham. We offer FEET and FEE funded places for eligible children.

We operate a community nursery and pre-school for all children aged 6 months-5 years

Recruit and train parents from the community who then provide support to families who are: experiencing difficulties; that have at least one child under the age of seven.The support provided can be emotional and practical but it is provided in the families own home by a trained volunteer
