The Barking & Dagenham Progress Project aims to develop services, strategy and joined up ways of working with disabled children & young people to effect good practice, promote the ethos of inclusivity and by being user led within a theme of 'participation'. SKY Positive Minds aims to preserve and protect the physical and mental health of women and children in North Kirklees who have experienced domestic abuse, have anxiety, stress and other disadvantages, through one to one sessions or group workshops that will give them skills and techniques to improve their confidence and emotional resilience.We also advance the education of children by running

Local Pre-School caring for children between 2 and 5 years old

We are a child care provision for out of hours, for example, breakfast, Afterschool and Holiday club.

The Mill has a welcoming reception and a living room, children's room, honesty library and public toilets that are free for all to use. Between 200 and 300 people visit The Mill each week. The Mill enables people to make a contribution, develop their skills and abilities, and improve their own confidence and social connections through running and supporting activities.

In The Mix Project provides youth and community services for children and young people, and their families across Somerset. The Charity offer a range of social, economic, educational and recreational opportunities, designed to encourage social inclusion and life-long learning, helping to create both economic and social independence, linking to core youth work practices and principles.

Education , Health and Employability support for disadvantaged children and families

We are a community run playgroup registered to take 26 children.

Our core activity is proclaiming the gospel with church services; meetings and activities for children and young people. We interact with the local school and the community. We support young peoples camps. welfare counselling, a weekly drop-in cafe and provide food for those in need. Giving to disaster relief - earthquake, famine and flood. Our area is one of the poorer ones of Derby

To develop disability sports for children with physical, learning and sensory disabilities and provide education to enable such children to gain new skills and maximise their potential. To provide advocacy services for such families to assist them to access services which meet their needs. To provide recreational / social ctivities for the elderly in order to reduce lonlinness in the community

Preschool for children from the age of 2 to 4 years of age.

FOTS are a PTA run by volunteers to support and raise funds for Treetops School & College for children with special needs. We raise funds for specialist equipment, sensory toys, senior prom and much more. We do this by organising events such as Summer Fete, Xmas Bazaar, Race Night, Tribute Night, Parents Evening etc.

Run a Clych Meithrin for preschool children during normal term times. Through the medium of Welsh we assist with play, learning and basic education to enable the children to make a smooth progression into school life.

St Gregorys Foundation supports local charities in Eastern Europe to tackle poverty and social insecurity facing children and families. Full range of mediation reaching agreement in all issues such as those relating to children, finance and property. Our mediation practices place importance on the needs of the child delivering child consultations and special conflict resolutions such as special guardianship orders.

To provide support and guidance to parents/carers/siblings of children who are diagnosed with (or being assessed for) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their associated conditions. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for these families in the interest of social welfare and for recreation and other leisure time occupation.
