The charity has continued with its aim of completing and publishing our Director's PhD on possible influences of breathing quality on outcome in children with cerebral palsy. This research forms the theoretical basis of The Scotson Technique as practised at Advance. Our long-term goal is to gain mainstream recognition on the National Health Service. We also offer hyperbaric oxygen to families.

We raise money through voluntary donations from Manchester United F.C. fans and then support children's organisations, which are dealing with homelessness in Manchester and are providing access to amateur sport, namely association football, in both Munich Germany and Belgrade Serbia for disadvantaged and disaffected children and young persons.

The Bumba Foundation is a small UK registered charity which provides sustainable education opportunities for children, young people and communities in vulnerable areas of Uganda through innovative projects with community ownership. The Church exists to advance the Christian religion in accordance with its doctrinal basis. The Church is based in Heaton Chapel, Stockport and meets for corporate worship on Sunday mornings. The pre-school is provides a small, nuturing atmosophere for rural children who live in a relatively isolated area.It is run by a team of four enthusiastic staff, who live locally, come from rural backgrounds and provide the children with a highly stimulating, fun and caring educational enviroment. The pre-school is managed by a commitee of local parents and operates out of the village hall.

We are the recognised Parent Carer Forum for North Yorkshire, supporting families with children and young people (0-25 years old) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). Our vision is to inform, empower and represent the collective voice of families with SEND in the region.
