This is a volunteer-led playschool employing professional staff and providing pre-school nursery education for children aged 2 to 5 at an affordable level for privately-funded pupils and giving access to free entitlement for grant-funded children.

Chorley & District Mencap society aims to improve the lives and opportunities of people with alearning disability, their families and carers by the provision of support and help. Together we willmake sure their needs are met, we will speak out for equal rights and raise awareness andunderstanding.

The object of the charity is the advancement of the Christian religion by the proclamation of the Gospel of God. WE ARE A LOCAL COMMUNITY RUN PLAYGROUP THAT IS BASED IN SEMILONG COMMUNITY CENTRE, NORTHAMPTON NN2 6HS, PROVIDING A SERVICE FOR ALL CHILDREN GIVING THEM CARE AND EDUCATION FOR 7 SESSIONS OF 3 HOURS EACH WEEK.

We work for the public benefit having as our objective the development/education of children particularly by:1. Promoting their care/safety; 2. Promoting education & parental involvement; 3. Promoting health/well-being; 4. Providing services to support them, their families & carers; 5. Providing services to members of the CIO; 6. Furthering the Pre-school Learning Alliance aims.

Activities, achievements and performance include:- Pedal push- West Dean Apple Affair - our annual October event- Christmas Nativity Raffle- Bake sales - one every half term, 6 in total- School Fete - our preschool had once again a successful cake stall- Wheel of Change - children collected small change coins in tubs and made a picture out of the funds raised

Apeb is the parents association of Ecole Bilingue. It organises After school clubs for the children, the winter fair and other community activities throughout the year (bread sales..). It can provide financial help for children to attend school trips who would otherwise not be able to attend those trips. It also organises various events for parents to discuss common education issues and socialise.
