Marafiki Trust raises funds in the UK to support vulnerable children and their families through established charitable organisations in Kenya. These include a drop-in centre which provides ongoing physical, emotional and educational support for children identified as being at risk of finding themselves on the streets, and a centre which supports children with cerebral palsy, and their parents.

Basingstoke & District Young Carers provides respite support to children and young people aged 8- 18.in the form of weekly young carers clubs or activities. Information, advice and guidance is provided to the children, young people and their families through either: school based sessions, 1-2-1 sessions, parent support groups or family activities.

Provision of leisure & opportunities for children & young people with disabilities

Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, Family First is a local Christian Charity which has a vision to see families flourish and children who are valued and cared for within positive constructive environments. Trained volunteers are matched and visit families regularly, enabling them to develop their capacity in supporting themselves and find solutions to the challenges that impact their lives.

The Charity was set up by the Late Mrs Guttridge. She owned land and properties in Lincolnshire which are now rented out in order to provide an income for the Charity, and this income can be distributed according to the governance.

Providing confidential support and counselling for LGBTQAI & our Allies from our experienced qualified counsellors for anyone who may be experiencing difficulties in their lives. Our counselling service can help with: Relationships, Family Issues, Bereavement, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, including systemic family transitioning counselling, Stress & Anxiety, Emotional Issues, etc.

It provides support and guidance to individuals with learning disabilities and their families and carers. It helps to raise awareness of the needs of people with learning disabilities by assisting with national campaigns, such as accessible toilets, and local initiatives such as the training of NHS staff.

The charity, founded and run with Christian ethos, provides essential funding and operational guidance to partner charities who provide caring homes, medical treatment and education to disadvantaged children. The children are from the streets, very poor families, are orphans, from families who have leprosy and parents who have incurable diseases. Children in families also receive similar help.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY ARE:TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF PEOPLE WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY (MENTAL HANDICAP) IN THE AREAS CURRENTLY COVERED BY THE COUNTIES OF CARDIFF AND THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN.THE MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION FOR CARERS AND FAMILIES AND REPRESENTING CARERS' VIEWS AT PLANNING MEETINGS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT UNPAID CARERS' VIEWS ARE REPRESENTED.

To provide facilities on an annual basis for the local community to demonstrate their services, goods, skills and hobbies and to provide family orientated traditional entertainment at an affordable price for the elderly and young families.

We provide sponsorship for children so that they can attend school

We meet in Markham Hall, Wroughton. We hold a Sunday worship service, and mid-week Bible study, occasional church social events, and seasonal family events for the wider community. Our parent and children's group meets x3 times per month in term time, in the local community centre. We meet in private homes for mid-week Bible study and prayer. Our building is a hub for Swindon Food Collective.

THE HUB PROVIDES A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES IN THE COMMUNITIES OF FIR VALE, SHEFFIELD, SOUTH YORKSHIRE. THE HUB INCLUDES OASIS ACADEMY FIR VALE, OASIS ACADEMY WATERMEAD, AND OASIS ACADEMY DON VALLEY. CURRENT ACTIVITY INCLUDES YOUTH WORK, COMMUNITY WORK, FAMILY SUPPORT, FAMILY LEARNING, HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES, ADVICE & GUIDANCE AND ADULT EDUCATION.

Providing support for bereaved families in Nottinghamshire following pregnancy loss or the death of a baby or child. We support anyone who has experienced loss, from early gestation to the death of an older child, with activities including peer support, specialist bereavement counselling, creative and holistic therapies, information sharing, books and resources.

We are working in the area to facilitate the religious, spiritual and educational needs of the community. We are working closely with the wider community to improve the social, educational, environmental and economic conditions. Some of activities include Luncheon Club, Festival Celebration, Youth Training course and Families Get Together.

The charity engages in 2 activities: 1) raising funds within the UK and 2) creating businesses in Western Kenya that will allow the Children?s Centre to become sustainable for its day-to-day running costs. The centre cares for around 300 orphans and needy children, providing primary and secondary education. The children live on site or with extended local family groups and are fed and cared for.

We are a small dedicated professional rescue team with over 30 years of dedication for the care and rescue of cats and kittens. Our main facility, houses cats & kittens, waiting to meet you and their family today! To provide a safe haven (sanctuary) for neglected, unwanted and abandoned cats and Kittens. Wherever possible to treat and re-habilitate all cats and kittens.

The charity did not operate in 2011. In 2012, the charity will obtain donations and disburse them amongst religious and educational establishments. Occasionally donations will be made directly to families known to be living in poverty.

Little Badgers pre-school provides a safe and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn through play. Our sessions help children to develop skills and confidence prior to starting Primary school and give pre-school aged children and their families and opportunity to have fun and make friends. All our sessions take place at Badger Hill Primary School, York.
