Oscar's Wish Foundation offers comfort and support to Parents & Birthing people, family members and siblings who have experienced the devastating loss of a precious baby before (Miscarriage), during (Stillbirth) or shortly after (Neonatal) birth. We have a range of resources, information and support programmes. These have been designed to help in the days, weeks and months following a loss.

The main fund raising events are the annual Christmas Bazaar and the bi-annual Spring Ball. DASPA organises social events to combine fund raising with enhancing the family ethos associated with Dame Allan schools. Other recent events have included a Wine-tasting evening, an Indian culture evening, a Ceilidh & a disco for middle school pupils.

Our vision is to help all bereaved families living within Gainsborough and the surrounding area, who have lost a family member to suicide receive the financial assistance they need.

Matts Mission Children's Charity grants wishes to seriously ill children with Cancer and Special Needs. The charity aim is all about making children's smiles glow, we provide family trips as well as gifts to children in a hospital or hospice. The charity has an adapted holiday home in which we provide free breaks for the whole family. We also offer sibling support sessions.

A drop in centre for people with Multiple Sclerosis, their family and carers. We aim to help them cope with the affects of this disability through therapies, exercise and listening

Chorley Wanderers Junior Football Club (CWJFC) currently (as at January 2019) supports several boys' football teams ranging from under-7s to under 16s. All teams are managed by qualified coaches and assistants who run the club together with a committee of volunteers in various roles. There are also social activities involving parents and families.

UBG facilitate game playing workshops for young people and their families. Our facilitators have a wide knowledge of games from around the world and years of experience of delivering fun interactive workshops for young people, older people and intergenerational groups. UBG work with groups to design bespoke board games that reflect cultural diversity and social issues in a fun accessible format.

The Foresters Heritage Trust was been set up to formally open a museum and maintain the history of the Ancient Order of Foresters Friendly Society Limited which was founded in 1834. In addition it provides an archive service to academics and members of the public researching social history and/or investigating family backgrounds. This service responds to enquiries received from around the world.

Memory Action Group is there to relieve the needs and promote and project the good health of people affected by dementia and their family and carers living in the Wakefield district and surrounding areas, through such activities and support as the trustees deem fit.

The Baby Equipment Loan Service and Toy Library(BELS & TL)is based in Wallsend,but covers all of North Tyneside and surrounding areas.BELS & TL hires essential baby equipment to families on benefits or low income.The Project runs a Toy Library where children can loan two toys or games each month for an annual fee of £7.00.Project Support Workers facilitate various groups in different venues.

Non-perishable foodstuffs are donated by individual donors, churches, schools and supermarkets. Parcels providing three days emergency food supplies are distributed by volunteers to individuals and families in need by reason of a short-term financial crisis, as identified by professionals in health, education and social services. Clients are signposted to other agencies for longer-term support.

The Trust provides support to children and their families/carers affected by Encephalitis and the subsequent Acquired Brain Injury. We aim to raise awareness and fund research in to the causes, diagnoses & treatments of Encephalitis. Packed with Smiles provide families in need with otherwise costly, new school uniform parcels. Each parcel contains everything a child may need to fully participate in school, including PE kits, coats, shoes, water bottles and backpacks. Personalising parcels where possible, we also enclose a letter to each child and their grown up, to let them know that their parcel was truly packed with love.
