The Charity exists to promote the interests of people affected by Sturge Weber syndrome and to engage in any charitable activities which may assist their wellbeing and to protect and preserve the health of their families, friends and helpers, by providing information and support, promoting research into Sturge Weber syndrome and raising public and professional awareness of the syndrome.

Provision of grants and other support to UK Christadelphian churches so that they may relieve the financial hardship of refugees, asylum seekers and those granted Leave to Remain, and their families, in their locality in particular through the provision of services, and education and support to churches in how best to support those seeking sanctuary

FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A SPRING FAIR, A FAMILY FUN NIGHT, QUIZ NIGHTS, RACE NIGHT AND PUPIL DISCOS. MONIES RAISED FROM THESE EVENTS PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SCHOOL EQUIPMENT AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR SCHOOL PUPILS.

Dobies Charitable Trust supports organisations which enhance the quality of life for communities in Cumbria. For example, local sports teams, health support charities, carnivals etc. The areas which are favoured are those that help disadvantaged families or children.The trust does not support national charities or individuals, unless there is a specifc benefit to the Cumbrian people.

WE OFFER VARIOUS ACTIVITIES SUCH AS WALKING FOOTBALL, GOLF, BOWLS, FISHING, WALKING CLUB, BOOK CLUB, CRIBBAGE, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO HELP AND SUPPORT PEOPLE AND FAMILIES WHO LIVE WITH PARKINSON'S DISEASE. BEING ACTIVE IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE CONDITION. WE RELY ON GRANTS, SPONSORSHIP AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO PROVIDE THE ACTIVITIES THAT WE OFFER.

Our current policy is to support young people or voluntary organisations working on their behalf.We seek opportunities where a small grant by us will offset disadvantage and improve future life chances.Grants which help attract other funding will be particularly favoured.Our normal grant range will be in the range of £100 - £3000.

The objects of FACT are to advance the Christian Religion, in particular through the education of children and adults. FACT seeks to meet these objects by carrying out presentations for children and adults in pre-school settings; Consultation work with churches aiding work amongst children and families; The creation, production, demonstration and distribution of 'Time to Share at Home' boxes.

Kids UK is a trust set up to share the gospel truth with children and families throughout the United Kingdom through the provision of assemblies, worship roadshows, holiday and childrens clubs and training sessions.

FKC raises funds in the UK to support orphaned, abandoned and/or destitute children in the Lodwar and Eldoret regions of Kenya, working through a Kenyan registered school active in these areas. The charity seeks to provide maintenance and education for the children and where necessary to assist also the communities and families in which they live and receive family care.

The relief of the needs of people with Down's Syndrome, their families and carers, for public benefit, in particular, but not exclusively by providing information, advice, support, and educational, vocational, social, cultural and sporting opportunities and by raising awareness of Down's Syndrome within Nottinghamshire, in order to maximise opportunities for their participation and inclusion.

We hold various events and activities which raise money for St. Martins Infant and Junior Schools, Epsom. These include a Christmas Fair, firework night, discos, film/quiz nights, raffles, second-hand uniform sales and family photo days. High Peak Baby Bank provides clothing, essentials, and equipment to families in need, including formula, feeding supplies, cots, prams, nappies, and toiletries. We also offer peer support, baby weighing, shoe fitting, baby and toddler groups, and feeding support.

The Centre actively promotes Cultural, Education and Leisure activities with actricive financial hire rates.The venue is also a popular venue for Socil events, with local families/residents; but all are welcome.

We run a Grief Play Cafe and an Intergenerational Bereavement Choir, in Worthing, West Sussex. The Cafe and Choir are safe spaces for children and their families, to come to be together, to not feel so isolated and have an opportunity to be around families going through similar experiences of loss.

Stories for Life records life stories face to face or remotely with those who are in the last chapter of life in a variety of settings; hospices, hospitals, care homes or in their own homes. Our biographers are specialist volunteers trained by us. Our phone service can include the recording of less formally structured conversations between family members/ friends of a different generation.
