We offer, and campaign for, the provision of free skilled breastfeeding support for every family who want it, when they need it, in the Cambridge area.

The charity manages a Community centre for those resident in Caterham and District to have a place to attend various clubs and classes who have members ranging from 3 to 100. It is also used for educational purposes by a school and by many members of the community for family gatherings and celebrations.

Knighton & Presteigne Foodbank operates in east Radnorshire and also crosses the border into Herefordshire and Shropshire. It helps families and individuals in crisis who are struggling with the growing problems caused by rising inflation, benefit changes and food and energy costs.

Holidays & outings for families under stress. Provide clothing for prem babies in Derbyshire hospitals & toiletries for emergency admissions. Provide Helpful Books for children in Primary Schools. Support for women's refuges & help with project for young girls caught up in prostitution. We help run parenting groups and Mother & Toddler groups. Provide Moses Baskets for Derby Refugee Centre.

Offering extensive advice and support via our helpline and website. Supporting members of the autism community during times of crisis due to violence, illness, poverty, substance abuse etc.Organising and hosting a variety of social events and free clubs for autistic people, their families and loved ones. Giving talks and presentations to help raise awareness of autism and Asperger's syndrome.

We make small grants of not more than £100 to families with young children and supply used household goods and some children's clothes in Liverpool

Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children's Society provides support for deaf children and their families in the Wigan borough and surrounding areas. We provide regular activities for deaf children to make friends, share experiences and build self confidence. We provide a local source of support and advice for parents of newly diagnosed deaf children.

TCS supports young people in northern Uganda who have been affected by exposure to armed conflict, in order to relieve poverty and mental distress and promote well-being. In 2022/23 we worked with over 170 families, providing support through grants for school fees and small businesses; and advice and befriending. We have also provided help with medical costs to over 250 children and adults.

Syresham Village Hall provides a meeting place for the village and surrounding district. It provides facilities for society meetings, for recreational and educational activities including drama and keep fit, for charitable, fund-raising and social events including family celebrations, for Parish Council meetings and small commercial conferences.

Providing a telephone help line for those diagnosed with or suffering from prostate cancer, their families and friends, holding monthly open meetings for such people at which health and other relevant professionals give talks on this cancer, its treatment and impact, followed by opportunities for discussion with new and existing members; raising money for new medical equipment for Kent hospitals.

The relief of persons who are in need, hardship or distress, in the following order of priority: former officers of the regiment or of the former regiments, or their dependants, members or former members of the regiment or of the former regiments, or their dependants. Grants are made to deserving families and widows. Grants are also made to individuals and institutions.

THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE RELIEF OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISTRESS AMONG AFRICAN AND CARIBBEAN WOMEN IN BURY, GREATER MANCHESTER, WHO ARE LIVING IN POVERTY OR WHO HAVE BEEN MALTREATED BY THEIR HUSBANDS OR BY THEIR FAMILIES.

The organisation HELP and SUPPORT the local mincreasing Bangladeshi community (over 200 families) by way of Advice, Information and various Activities such as:Advice Session (4 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday);Openday Session for local Pensioners;Mother Tongue School (5 afternoons a week 5pm-7pm);Women's Group and Youth Group.We run the activities on part time basis.

We support Herefordshire children and young people between the ages of 5 and 21 (25 forvulnerable adults), who experience the death of someone close to them. We enable families,carers, volunteers and professionals to provide support for bereaved children. We advocatein the best interests of bereaved children, young people and their families.
