We are involved in the advancement of education by sponsoring the schooling, up to and including University level, or equivalent, of children from the poorer areas of the Indian sub-continent. At present, we support families in Bengaluru (Bangalore), in the State of Karnataka, and Puducherry (Pondicherry), in the State of Tamil Nadu.

The charity's activities are chanelled towards supporting its aim: 'To enhance the quality of life for local children and their families undergoing treatment for cancer'. We raise money, receive donations (which we gift aid). The money is spent eg. a weekend at Center Parcs for the children, siblings and parents. Families are often pauperised when a child is ill - we pay bills.

Supporting bereaved children and their families through the provision of days out and annual passes.

The trust has a small community hall in North Shaftesbury for the benefit of the local groups of the town, particulary those who live and/or work North of the A30/A350 road. It is also used for social occasions, clubs and family gatherings.

Link Universal supplies education and clothes to underprivileged children, orphans and families around the world.

Diversions' is a support network, based in the North West of England, for families with a child or young person living with a bladder or bowel diversion / dysfunction. We provide opportunities for people to experience a range of different fun activities through our regular programme of events. These include outdoor adventures and team building tasks, art work-shops and day trips out

The PTA run various fundraising events throughout the school year such as Christmas and Summer fayres, family bingo, children's and adults quizes. It also raises funds through mechanisms such as Webb Ivory and Invitation books. The funds raised are spent in support of the school on things such as playground equipment, musical equipment and extra curricular events for pupils.

WE ARE A PTA IN A SMALL CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL, WE FUNDRAISE TO PROVIDE EXTRA RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE CHILDRENS LEARNING, WE CONTRIBUTE TO TRIPS AND OTHER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. WE RELY ON LOCAL SUPPORT FROM, FAMILIES, SHOPS AND BUSINESSES.

Promotes knowledge and appreciation of the lives and works of A.E. Housman, other members of his family and the causes of literature and poetry.Activities include the publication of an Annual Journal, a Newsletter twice a year, Poetry Readings and Discussions, Commemorations in Bromsgrove and Ludlow, an Annual Lecture and the publication of books about A.E.Housman & family.

The charity holds events for the children and families of the school to attend in a way to raise funds to enhance the activities and experiences for the whole school. These events are held at the school or within the village that the school is located.

The PTA organises various fundraiser events such like Halloween discos, Firework event, Christmas & summer Fairs, Bingo evenings and quiz nights to bring the staff, pupils, families and the community together.

We help alleviate hunger and poverty for children and their families who live in underprivileged communities in and around the city of Windhoek, Namibia. We do this by appealing for donations and raising funds to fund our food bank network that provides emergency food and basic toiletries supplies to those in need and in time of crisis.

Group raise funds within school and local community - funds then donated to school for additional projects.ie climbing wall, new sports kit, trips, playground equipment.

THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL FUNDS RESEARCH INTO ALPERS SYNDROME, A RARE TERMINAL ILLNESS AFFECTING YOUNG CHILDREN. THE RESEARCH IS UNDERTAKEN AT THE WELLCOME CENTRE, NEWCASTLE.MUCH WORK HAS BEEN GIVEN TO RAISING AWARENESS TO ALPERS SYNDROME, THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL AND ALSO COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER AFFECTED FAMILIES.

Our aims are to raise awareness, educate & campaign against Parental Alienation. We also promote a culture ofequality in parental rights, reducing discrimination for parents & their families when accessingchild related services & the family court system during divorce, separation, & child contactdisputes. We hold an annual event for Parental Alienation Awareness Day on the 25th of April.

The Royal Air Forces Association is a charity, which promotes the welfare and comradeship of those who have served in the Royal Air Force, and their families. It is able to provide welfare advice, respite care and financial advice and/or assistance to those members who need it. Through its Royal Air Force Liaison Officer members, it allows a direct link between those who have served in the RAF

The charity exists to administer donations received from friends and supporters of the late Tom Hughes to maintain his home in Nepal and to continue his work relieving the needs of orphaned and disabled children by providing them with accommodation and education until they are able to make their own way in the world.

The charity has continued to raise awareness of its existence and ability to support families with local fetes, Christmas Fayres, stalls, etc. Providing information through leaflets and word of mouth of the effects of childhood cancer, particularly in the very young. The trustees provided emotional support to newly diagnosed families and advise them of options available for support.

The Charity is a grant making trust applying funds to charitable causes at the trustees discretion.

Food for a Future is a charity set up with the aim of relieving poverty or financial hardship of children and families in Cambodia by assisting in the provision of education, training, good/services and food to enable them to attend school and improve the education of children in poverty.

Befriending service, links medical students to children with special needs/ disabilities and their families. Events throughout the year e.g. parties, theatre trips, residential weekend trips.

Parents' Aid provides a package of support services to families involved with the Social Services Department or at risk of social exclusion: information, advocacy, support & befriending, family mediation, anger & aggression management, effective parenting skills and personal therapy where requested. We also give users free information booklets & offer a 24/7 information phone line.

The principal activity of the society is the transcribing, printing and publishing of the heraldic visitations of counties, parish registers or any manuscripts relating to genealogy, family history and heraldry.

We operate a foodbank offering food, baby items, pet food and essential items together with linked support, services and advice to individuals and families in financial need. We also offer our premises for use by local groups as a community space.
