TO RECEIVE, STORE AND PRESERVE THE HISTORICAL COLLECTION OF LETTERS, DOCUMENTS, MISCELLANEOUS MATERIALS AND ARTEFACTS RELATING TO THE W H SMITH FAMILY AND COMPANY PRESENTLY OWNED BY THE W H SMITH FAMILY AND COMPANY AS A DISCRETE ARCHIVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF HISTORIANS, SCHOLARS AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY

Fund-raising chiefly in South Yorkshire (but can be elsewhere in england and Wales) to raise money to support sufferers of HIV and AIDS ,their carers and families, in Masvingo Province and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Provides services for pupils at the school.

We provide a range of play based activities for children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers. We aim to enhance opportunities for the early education and development of young children in our community, and to provide a space for families with young children to get together.

In 1962 the tragedy of Thalidomide struck some 600 families in the UK. Lady Mary Hoare, wife of the then Lord Mayor of London, established a trust to raise money and help the children who were born with missing limbs whether due to the Thalidomide drug or not. On 1st December 2004 Contact a Family (RCN 284912) entered into a transfer of charitable undertakings with the Lady Hoare Trust.

Rooted in Christian compassion, we offer worldwide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to foreign prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families, and those affected by crime, whatever their race, national origin, sex, religion, or age. Our mission is to see lives transformed through faith in Christ, helping individuals find comfort, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Monthly meetings. Lectures, talks, visits, relating to any historical topic. Talks to schools & colleges. Archaeological research. Local family history research. Unexamined Lives Project recording people in the history of Borrowash. Not currently active.

We are a group of volunteers who hold lots of different fundraising events from quiz nights and fetes to bus trips and family nights to support our local school.

Friends of Pocklington Community Junior School fundraise to provide additional school resources to our children as well as fun occasions for families to participate in.

Working with people of African descent coming from disadvantage backgrounds and broken families, bringing back self esteem and knowledge of self,through a range of cultural events , raising confidence for under achievers , annual trips to west Africa to visit there ancestral family.

The group is a non-profit organisation with charitable aims.It brings families (including siblings) with children who have additional needs together to socialise in a safe, secure & supportive environment.The group allows a platform for parents to support other parents and carers with help on advice and support on emotional, social and welfare issues around having a child with additional needs.

We offer services to people in need regardless of their ethnic or religious background or affiliations.We support young people through our 'Positive youth action' initiatives.We support the families through regular workshops on relationships and 'No domestic violence initiative through which domestic violent victims are supported and linked with relevant services available in the community.

We are a Royal Naval Association Branch supporting ex ROYAL NAVY, R.N.R. & RNXS personnel and their families etc we are supporting local and national seafaring charities, we are registered and governed by the Royal Naval Association's Royal Charter. We host visits from RNA Branches, Army and RAF Regiment get togethers in our 'Tri Service Mess' member & community events

Represent, safeguard and promote the welfare of Children involved in Family Court Proceedings. Provide Supported and Supervised Contact services across South Wales.

The charities aim is to improve the lives and the health of the sick, poor children and their families in and around Ozarichi, Kalinkovichi and the surrounding villages and hamlets in the district in the Gomel Region of Belarus. This is through grants and support. They still suffer ill health and medical conditions following from the Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor disaster on the 26th April 1986.
