The AFRICAN/CARIBBEAN SUPPORT GROUP provides Advice, Information and Advocacy services, providing practical and emotional support to some 90 families living in Newham (areas of high deprivation). We support over 200 adults, children and young people each year. We also provide Social and Learning activities and offering holiday for disabled children and young people.

HALFF helps disadvantaged people to maintain good health/ improve their health through education on nutrition and cookery courses and demonstrations in local towns. We also produce learning materials covering the link between food and health and how people with different needs can adapt their diet. HALFF also runs a fruit and veg shop. We provide a range of educational, leisure and recreational activities for Somali women and children in Liverpool.These range from trips to museums, parks, the seaside, holiday activities for children and sports and arts activities.With new Somali families settling in Liverpool, and most families living in households where no-one works, we try to ensure a good quality of life for young people.
