Small steps is a charity that supports and helps educate families expecting a child or families/carers with a child with a diagnosis of Down syndrome.We have weekly meetings where we explore sensory play, learn sign language, do craft activities and support each other.We have a monthly meeting for children of school age. This group learns life skills, builds friendships, and essential support.

Promote swimming & provide support to families in Thanet that aren?t able to access a key life skill of learning to swim. Being 70% surrounded by sea and 1/2 of primary school children unable to swim, the charity is looking to promote learning to swim to areas children, whilst providing valuable support to families in financial hardship to assist with the cost of access to qualified swim teachers.

Horn of Africa foundation, supports people affected by conflicts. we particularly help orphaned children and destitute families, who have been displaced into refugee camps, in the fields of education and health care. we currently operate in Dadab Refugee camps in Kenya.

Soar is a network of individuals and families who are choosing to stand alongside community heroes, because we believe it is people not projects who challenge, inspire and lead others to change. Our community heroes are people who have seen a need in their own communities and have chosen to do something about it. Soar is a christian charity set up to refresh and refuel these community heroes.

G12 is an association of friends who grew up in Ibadan, Nigeria, and mostly living in diaspora but still with family connections in Ibadan. We sponsor a child "Praise Bamidele" through the Living Word Mission Ministry in Ibadand. Through an annual contribution of ?120 per annum per member we have provided for Praise?s school fees, board at the orphanage, clothes and school materials.
