We welcome every child and their family from birth to 4 years. We provide Early Intervention support, as well as our Early Years education Pre-school programme. We also offer a variety of group sessions for children to attend with their parents, as well as offering parenting support. We are a Registered Charity primarily providing Hospice at Home care for adults, over the age of 18 years, in the last stages of illness. Our team of experienced registered nurses provides specialist end of life and palliative care for patients and support for their families. Kate's Home Nursing works to support GPs, Community Nurses and other medical professionals.

Run entirely by volunteers, we operate a purpose built wide beam canal boat on the Lancaster Canal. We take people, families and groups, who have medically diagnosed special needs, disabilities, or long term illnesses on day trips or mini breaks on board "The Margaret Kane" canal boat. The boat has a large rear deck, lift down into the spacious accommodation that has been built to take wheelchairs

HF&CT will work together with local residents to utilise and improve the community building and provide educational, health and recreational initiatives, which will generate a sustainable, creative and inclusive community for those living and working in the area. HF&CT will also work with young parents and their children, empowering and engaging them in the community

We support family members of people who are facing imprisonment, imprisoned or leaving prison by offering advice, advocacy, information and emotional support; signposting to other appropriate organisations when appropriate and providing training, information and resources to professionals who work with prisoners' families.

Heart Heroes supports families of children living with Congenital Heart Disease and other heart conditions. Felix Fund provides financial assistance and welfare support to personnel from any military unit who has conducted or assisted with EOD & Search duties. This includes physical injures and anyone suffering PTSD or other mental health issues, as well as those facing hardship. We also help serving personnel veterans and their dependent family members.
