District Guide Association for Burnham and Taplow (1 Ranger, 2 Guide units, Four Brownies units and one Rainbow). District has 100% interest in income and assets of Burnham Supporters Committee. Purpose of Supporters Committee is to provide a safe and fit for purpose Guide HQ and garden for Burnham Units.

We are a Parent Teacher Association and focus on fundraising for Colston's Girls' School. Teachers can apply for funds for items/activities which the school otherwise would not be able to afford. We then discuss the requests and approve/reject them. The main fundraising events we do throughout the year are one Raffle plus a big summer fair with second hand uniform sale. We also use Easyfundraising

Grants to assist girls or women for education or training expenses after leaving primary school. Candidates must live in the Diocese of London, or the Diocese of Southwark within Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Wandsworth, a member of the Church of England, and a present or past pupil for not less than two years of a school wholly or partly maintained out of public funds.

We patrol the streets of Harrow and Wealdstone on Friday nights (10PM to 4AM) and some Saturday nights (8:30PM to 2:30AM) with the remit of 'helping, caring and listening' to those people we come into contact with. We carry kit bags for helping people where necessary (flip-flops for girls struggling in high heels, water, lollies, blankets etc). We refer people on to local services where we can.

We have been working with women and girls in Sierra Leone and young people in the U.K this year on projects which focus on personal development and access to education.

Edenbridge Evening WI is a local branch of the National and West Kent Federations of the WI. Our aims include the education of women and girls for the public benefit in all areas including local, national and international issues of political and social importance; music, drama and other cultural subjects; agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare.

Guiding Activities

Provide a programme of activities for girls and young women including health, crafts, sports, first aid, cooking, outdoor adventurous activities, camping. Also service in the community and fundraising for other charities.

We are a guide company working in a small village with young girls aged between 10 and 15 years of age. We work through the guide syllabus on various challenges to gain badges. We try to get involved in our local community, provide enjoyment and fun and help them make friends for life.

We raise awareness of the work of, and raise funds to support, Atsede Clinic in Cheha Woreda, Ethiopia, focusing on maternal, neonatal and child health services, sexual health programmes, and community outreach projects. We provide training for health workers, sponsor girls to stay in education, and mentor women, promoting equality and social justice through sustainable, community-led action.

To provide a fully maintained meeting place for Rainbows; Brownies; Guides and Ranger groups within the local area and provide a safe and happy environment for them to learn in a fun environment.

We are an online school offering free education to girls and young women in Afghanistan.
